“They're always helpful inside and it has that wonderful hardware store smell. It's a place you can get in and out if you went or spend an hour looking around at all their good stuff. Conveniently located in the hole at 63rd and main. I'm sure the only reason this parking lot doesn't flood out is because of the enginuity of the Ace hardware employees!”

“I had broken the elbow off my bathtub drain shoe while trying to get the drain out. Spent days trying to find a replacement on the Internet. Failed a couple times. Decided to go to Harlem plumbing. The salesman took a couple seconds, and gave me everything I needed.Drain fixed!I had the slip joint nut and plumbers putty already. He had, the shoe the drain and the gasket for me. Very happy with the service.”

“If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would. Mike talked me through a shower cartridge replacement with the correct components since I had previously ordered some on Amazon and while they worked, they were not quite right. Mike asked me to call him later to make sure they were worked. Now my shower works like new. Great place! Terrific customer service.”

“Boy when you need tools you should definitely check here... even if you don't need tools you should come here and check it out!! But really this place has great deals on tools if you ask me they're not the very best ones but they are definitely affordable... If you are looking for the right tool at a lower price this is your place... If you are looking for high quality eh they're not bad really... I'm here to tell you that you get what you pay for... Will harbor freight hammers hammer in that nail hell yeah will that harbor freight screw driver screw and unscrew hell yeah... will it last you as long as others probably... but when it comes to the bigger tools and some of the other stuff that you find at harbor freight I'm not sure exactly how long they will last.... comparing tools one to the next is all about need and want what do you need compared to what do you want... this is the part of the review where I add on some extra words for extra points... oooooh points...!! “For truck drivers... entrance is the west gate. Pull up to the gate and call the number posted. Pretty easy backing. Unload time is about an hour. Getting to the delivery can have some tight turns but overall not bad.”

“Contacted Holland Hardware for repair of a damaged dining chair. Because the dining table is pretty old (it was purchased used over 40 years ago) replacing it with a new chair would have required custom building at a high price. Holland was able to repair the split wood, install new dowels to replace the broken ones, and reattach the broken leg to proved a sturdy, solid dining chair.they did this in a timely fashion at a very reasonable cost. we are very pleased with the service.”

“I have to give this Ace Hardware a thumbs up! I am so glad that they are still in my area and haven't succumbed like so many smaller business entities. I had to replace the cartridge in my single handle shower faucet and after 3 trips there (and so many offers of guidance) I have to say I successfully completed the job with an outlay of less than $100. I'm sure that this saved me a lot from calling out a plumber (in addition to the fact I wouldn't have been able to use my shower until someone came out)! The staff is always so kind and helpful there. I know I probably pay a bit more for the convenience of having them close to my home, but it is well worth it when you know you are going to get assistance with whatever household task you are endeavoring to fix on your own!”

““This location has the BEST customer service I’ve seen in a long time. I had my sump pump go out late last night. I called the store, and I apologize, but I don’t have the associate's name. I shared my dilemma of needing a sump pump. He immediately checked to ensure he had one in stock. I asked if he would wait for me as I would arrive after closing. Not only did he wait for me after closing, but the team had everything ready at the register. I’m in retail as well, and it’s great to see that businesses still go above and beyond for their customers."”

“Aside from the fact that they have pretty much everything you need if you're making a small run to the hardware store and they've got some really premium lumber, but beside that they have one of the best cashiers I have ever encountered. He has joke after joke and is always smiles. He will literally brighten your day. He is one of the biggest reasons why I choose to come in to this ace versus going to any other hardware store. He really deserves a raise or some type of promotion or bonus.”
