“I want to give praise to Bentley's Pet Stuff in Downers Grove. Especially to Robert & Heather they are amazing. They have helped Vanilla Bean. I got vanilla July 17th 2022 and she had issues not wanting to eat or drink much. Robert & Heather have went out of their way. To help me get food to try to get her to eat she would eat it once or twice and that would be the end of it. I would make regular trips up there once a week. And nobody can tell us anything at the vets. We took her to the vet several times two different vets to try to find out what was wrong. Nobody can tell me what was wrong. Finally October 3rd 2023 we finally figured out what was wrong it was something calcified in her stomach. Surgery was emergency for Vanilla. Vanilla is a picky eater still but she's at least eating three to four times a day. I still go to Bentley's on a weekly basis to see if I could find something that she will eat. It's become costly with the surgery as well as trying to find a food that she will eat. Thank youRobert & Heather at Bentley's pet stuff in Downers Grove”

“This place is the best. Our dog, Milo, loves coming in to shop… and the staff is fantastic. Sonia, Amber, Brenda and Kathryn (apologies if I forgot anyone) always love on him when they see him. They’ve always got events going on for dogs, and they are always super helpful with finding and recommending stuff for Milo. If I could give more stars, I would. Here’s a pic from their most recent event!!!”

I like that it's a small store -- you can find things easily and never have to search for someone to help you.”

“I'm not sure what's with all of the recent 1 star reviews. I adopted 2 cats from here. One sadly passed away and the other she's still alive and healthy. I was very new when I adopted my first cat but the screening/background check process didn't take too long. Before you knew it, I was able to take my cat home. The agency was very helpful with any questions I had as a new owner at the time. By the time, I adopted my second cat from there, the process seemed quicker since they had all of my information on file. I would definitely adopt from them again.”

“I’ve been a loyal member here for years and I usually have amazing experiences, but my mom brought my dog in today for his 11th birthday and did not have the experience.My mom mentioned it was his birthday and bought him treats, but the girl helping her did not seem interested in the slightest and was anything but helpful. She also failed to give my dog his free treats for his birthday. Very disappointing.”

“I had an absolutely amazing experience at this PetCo. I have come here for years for my hamster and dogs, but recently decided to add a kitten to my home. I was picking out some things for my kitten and there was an amazing employee! I regret not getting her name, but she's a shorter girl with dark hair and glasses. She knew absolutely everything about cats and kittens and gave me amazing advice. She also gave me plenty of online resources to educate myself further. She went above and beyond what her job calls for and gave me a fantastic experience. I really appreciate that she cared so much about my kitten and cared that I was aware of things to provide him a healthy and happy life.”

“Great place to take your dog for grooming! Definitely the place to go in Elmhurst! Reasonable and great grooming. Never have trouble with pick-up or drop-off. This is the type of place you take your animals that you really care about as they don't allow dozens of animals at the same time. They even do a tolerance check of your animal and other animals. Who drops their dog off an hour and a half early?....geez David N. Do you go to the doctor an hour and half early and expect to be serviced?”

“Groomers at What The Fluff are AWESOME! Most definitely recommend. I have a 150 lb mastiff and he's been there twice now. First time for a bath and nails, now again for nails. Lets say he loves baths, but isnt very "cooperative" (to say the least) when it comes to his nails. They got the job done when I couldn't.Hes going in for a bath next week and setting up regular appointments with them for the future. Ive found our groomers!”

I found the three or four items I needed here really quickly, and when I got to the line at the front of the store, one staff member notice the line was getting long and immediately dropped what she was doing to open a new register and help folks in line. “Good selection at this Pet Supplies Plus location. They offer self serve washing and grooming. The one thing that's a bummer is that they are discontinuing bulk bird food, which is probably the main reason I shop at PSP and not an online store. It's still great to buy things in person and patronize a local store.”
