“I loved their free diagnostic exam for my feet, it helped me confirm and discover a lot of points about my necessities regarding my personal way of walking and feet structure. Staff is very helpful and guided me through diverse shoe models evaluation, they listen to you and give you the best type of shoe you need. Definitely recommend coming and take the exam so you know what's best for your feet even if you work retail.”

“Star Pro Shop is a local leader amongst bowlers. Their pricing is competitive with no hidden costs. The turn around time is unbeatable, even for out of stock items. Their knowledge base is far beyond just equipment. They go above and beyond to know their clients and their bowling styles to make recommendations and give honest feedback. They even offer coaching! The staff is friendly and it’s obvious how much they love all the sport. You won’t go to any tournament around without seeing someone repping Star Pro Shop on their jersey!”

“Price wise it's not bad for most things. That's if you can find a price. Some of the pricing wasn't readily viewable. The atmosphere of the store was nice reminding a bit of a lodge without the wood everywhere. Now the real issue I had was outdoor.
While the store can give off a Ross vibe, my concern wasn't marketing strategy but looking for outdoor stuff. It felt hodgepodge and clustered. More like accessories than actual stuff I'd use as an avid outdoorsman. They did have a few things I liked but in comparison to bulk of this section I'd say 15%. And then as the store pushes the outdoor marketing, I felt like the pet section was bigger and had more to offer.
I think with a little more clearer organization and a aisle or three expansion in outdoors, this would be a well rounded store. As it is right now it's more of a toe dippers introduction into outdoor adventures as seen on family TV. But for what it is and reasonably priced I can see the family oriented market being satiated for a while.”

It’s been a year since my last purchase at Peak. I have had 3 iterations of the same shoes that I loved. I expected to just update to the latest version of the same shoes. Megan brought a pair of shoes out and the newest version was not comfortable.
I explained what I didn’t like about the newest sneaker. Megan found me two great alternatives. She then grabbed a laptop and walked me through all the color options to ensure I was happy with my purchase.

“When I was a kid I sometimes got dropped off at my aunt’s house in LaGrange, and my little cousin and I would skateboard here bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, dying to get a glimpse at some Yu-Gi-Oh! cards in the display case or buy a few packs or cards of our own. Yes Steven has that very dry sense of humor and droll attitude that some people might not like, but that’s PART of Steven’s experience! He’s never mean. We LOVED going and talking to him, sometimes he would get a little aggravated with us and we would turn to each other and giggle, and he would talk to us about the card game and help us understand things. If I could go back in time and relive those core memories I would without a second guess, times were much simpler when we skateboarded down the street to Steven’s. He also taught us a lot of invaluable lessons! One I still use to this day! (Read the fine print on eBay listings, they’ll send you an empty box if they can!)”

“I have to give a big thank you to TPS Team Gear and Nick Heiden! My husband ordered a hat. It never came. He called spoke with Nick. Nick hand delivered a new hat to us and left it on the porch… on Dec 23rd so we would have it for Christmas. A donation company came about 15 minutes later and took the hat along with the donation items. Upon hearing this, Nick sent another new hat. No one replaces things for free anymore especially when it isn’t their fault. Thanks TPS and Nick! Such great customer service = lasting customers! We’ll be ordering from you again soon!”

If you need your bowling balls drilled ask for Paul. He has been drilling my bowling balls for over 15 years. Paul will drill your dual-angle layout dependent on your PAP, speed, rev-rate, axis tilt and rotation. If you don’t know it, he can help with that too!”

“What a fantastic store at Yorktown! We were in town from Canada, and wanted to buy two bear shirts but they were only large and we needed medium. Once we got back to Canada, I called to see if there was any way we could have some shipped. The staff kept keeping me posted as to ways to have them sent to Canada. I received many calls from Yorktown. They got a hold of Lucy, at their warehouse, and she quickly set me up with the way to have them shipped to Canada. “Very helpful and reliableI got my phone fixed from a cheaper quoted fixers and within a month it got it in to trouble and then i contacted Mr. Phone.According to their adviceMy 11 pro got fixed now it’s completely working smoothly.The technician who came to fix the screen explains it in detail where is the problem and what did they do to fix it which is very knowledgeable for me to not to blindest trust local fixers and get again in trouble.Excellent, professional, reasonably priced service. I have used previously for cracked screen but today they replaced entire glass on back, sides and front of phone and picked up / delivered on time; it was such a smooth service. Would highly recommend!”
