“I am surprised by some of the latest reviews on here. Our experience has been a diametric opposite of what they have said... so take a grain of salt with some of them.

I'll speak from our own experience. We have been living here for several months... all with the new management. They have been incredible to deal with. Extremely flexible and patient. They have been very responsive to issues that we have had. Even when we felt like we needed to switch apartments mid lease they bent over backward to accommodate us. If there are any issues, if you communicate with either Samatha or Jeet they are incredibly kind and willing to hear you out and do everything they can to help. They make living here great. Management can make or break an apartment experience... they make it great.

Accommodations are great. Not cheap stuff.. you can tell they really took time to make sure the amenities in the communal areas are quality and the space is worth spending time in. There are a ton of cool residents here who watch football together and hang together... a major plus.

Apartments are beautiful and well maintained. They entry system works great and is easy to let friends in without having to shlep downstairs. WE GOT TWO FOBS WITH OUR APARTMENT **cough other reviews are wrong cough** and it's been super easy to live with.

Maintenence crew is great. They are always working on the building keeping it up. Parking lot it safe and well maintained.”

“we didnt end up leasing but Jennifer L was amazing to work with. The minute we walked in the door, she got up with a smile on her face to greet us, shake our hand, and introduce herself and her associate who was in training. We had seen five other places before and after and she was by far THE most professional, outstanding leasing consultant that we had the pleasure of meeting and working with. We were so sad the unit did not fit our needs because we were so impressed with everything else. It is so rare post covid/pandemic to find people like Jennifer L with the energy, professionalism, and a genuine human touch that she possesses.”

“This is an updated review. Our family has lived here since 2023. It’s a great location near restaurants, boutiques, Trader Joe’s and an awesome movie theater. The building has a lot of nice amenities, and the community spaces are really great. This past summer we hosted an important family event in the party room (which has a lovely rooftop deck). It was absolutely perfect. We will always treasure the memories created that day in that space.

Aside from all the physical things the building has going for it, the staff is amazing. Ghadeer did all of the holiday decorations this year, and it’s truly spectacular. She is likely the first person you meet when you tour the building. She has an impressive ability to remember names and is creative and insightful. Alan and Johnny do the majority of repairs and they are always very prompt and friendly. You’ll often encounter them on their rounds and you’re always greeted with a genuinely-friendly conversation in the elevator. Leslie is the GM and you can tell she takes pride in making sure that living here is a pleasure for all residents. She hosts monthly events so residents can mingle. It creates a neighborly environment and builds community. She does the difficult and thankless things that keep things running smoothly. She deserves thanks for that.

“I moved to Iron Gates in May and must say that after a few minor complications with the lease everything else has been great. It’s very clean, quiet, and cozy. Maintenance is always on top of it whenever there is something that needs their attention. Big shoutout to Courtney, he’s always super friendly, polite and quick to fix whatever issue there is.”

“I love my apartment. I also like the location. The management staff is awesome. I’ve had a couple of issues and they handled it with grace and professionalism. I love my light that comes in my windows. The only downside is that same light makes it hot in the summer and the air conditioning unit struggles a bit to make it cool. It gets there but takes time. I also wish the faucet knobs in the shower were more update. Other than that I love it. It’s quiet and clean and nice.”

“I submitted the maintenance request Monday morning and had the AC checked a few hours later same day. I also got a new AC installed same day. I appreciate the quick response to resolve the issue. I was worried about it for health issues. Thank you!”

“This place wasn’t that bad, it did it’s job, the room was dated but clean and the bed was comfortable.. it’s worth the cheap price… we got there early 11am and they accommodate us for an extra $20, which was great because check in time is 3pm.. the area was cool, I’m a black female traveling with another female and we didn’t feel unsafe. We even walked to the store at night.. I had a smoking room and it didn’t even smell like cigarettes or weed at checking in.. I didn’t experience any loud noise or ppl hanging around. It’s a few food places, Walgreens, liquor store, hair store, dispensary and gas stations in walking distance… the lady at the front desk was very friendly
The only thing I really didn’t like is the uber/lyft fees … depending on what your during $25-30 but we paid $8 to blue line train and that took us downtown… also the $10 deposit for iron…”

“My first impression as I drove into the Arbors of Glen Ellyn was how nicely and tastefully the property is kept—from the tall trees to the thoughtful landscaping. It felt warm and welcoming.

When I parked, I noticed the spaces were wider than most I’ve experienced. I appreciate having room to open the car door wide and get in and out easily, which already had me smiling as I walked into the office. Inside, I was greeted with smiles and friendly hellos from the staff. They are professional, patient, and personable—easy to talk with and ready to answer questions.

After touring the property with its many amenities and seeing the model apartment, I knew this was where I wanted to make my new home. I was given a checklist to note anything that might need attention. I found only a couple of minor things, and within days the maintenance team arrived and fixed the issues. They did excellent work and were a pleasure to chat with—like meeting new friends.

As I was emptying boxes and settling in, I noticed how quiet the neighborhood is. Out my windows are those tall trees, green lawns, and beautifully landscaped areas. I’m glad I chose the Arbors of Glen Ellyn for my new home, and I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming community.”

“I've been living here since November. A lot of people have made nasty comments re the towing. It's actually VERY SIMPLE. If you're a RESIDENT park in the RESIDENT SLOTS. that doesn't mean you can park in the visitor slot. Tow companies do not look for a resident sticker when they check the VISITOR spots, they check for a VISITOR sticker! If you don't put a visitor sticker on your car even if you are a resident and you're parked in a visitor spot. You will get towed. I have not done that so I've never been towed, and I have just taken the loss and will sometimes walk 2 extra minutes since there is limited spots. Big deal. Read your contracts, because that is the SMART thing to do. And if you aren't sure ASK QUESTIONS before you act. It's sad people get so defensive and childish over such simple things. All in all I've had an easy experience living here at scenic trees. Amada is always nice and will help as soon as she can as she is in the office most of the time and has a lot on her plate. Don't be unreasonable people PLS. There's enough stuff to stress about.”
