“Holy cow! I think I just stumbled across my favorite store in all of Chicago. I don't think the reviews fully capture how expansive this store is. It is so beautifully and tastefully decorated—very similar to an art fair where each vendor has a designated space to showcase their work. I can't sing this store's praises enough. Postcards and jewelry galore, tons of Chicago souvenirs, art for people of all ages that you won't find anywhere else. I'm adding this store to my list of places to take my friends who live outside of Chicago. Even if you're not in the mood to shop, I guarantee you will inevitably find something here that strikes your fancy. Or, just come for the layout of the store alone—it's incredible!!! The photos I took don't even capture the half of it. Just do yourself a favor and stop by, you won't regret it!”

“Harmony Art Glass Co. has now completed two major stained‑glass projects for me, and both experiences have been exceptional. Our first stained-glass window had suffered years of wear and tear from the elements, it was bowing, cracked in several places, and looked like it might not even be salvageable. The project was complex and took a few months, but the result was absolutely stunning. The craftsmanship brought the window back to life in a way that exceeded every expectation. I originally chose Harmony Art Glass based on research and a gut feeling that they were the right company. That instinct was confirmed the moment Robert came by to assess the window. He immediately recognized the style and mentioned he had worked on our next‑door neighbor’s stained‑glass windows. That connection gave me complete reassurance that I was in the best hands. When Robert returned to install the restored window, I mentioned that we had three old stained‑glass panels stored in the attic; pieces the previous owners had inherited from the original homeowner, who once displayed them in their formal dining room. I asked whether they could be repurposed for our foyer windows, which at the time had plain frosted glass and lacked any character. Without hesitation, Robert said it could be done. He took on the challenge with enthusiasm, worked quickly and efficiently, and kept me updated throughout the entire process. The transformation is incredible. The foyer now has beautiful stained‑glass windows that flow perfectly with the entrance and feel like they were always meant to be part of the home. Harmony Art Glass Co. delivers exceptional craftsmanship, honest communication, and true artistry. Robert and his team’s skill and care show in every detail. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with stained‑glass work; they’ve earned my highest recommendation.”

“I took my first pottery class in Indiana in 2002 and moved to Chicago in 2003. For the next 10 years, I searched for a studio where I could get back into pottery, but I could never seem to find a class before it filled up. Eventually, I gave up. Then, in the fall of 2025, I finally found The Pot Shop—and I am so glad I did. My first class back was taught by the male teacher, a wonderful instructor who was patient, encouraging, and generous with his guidance and advice. After that, I moved to a slightly more advanced class with another teacher, then moved into an even more advanced setting, and had the luck of working with Carrie, whose kind and thoughtful instruction has helped me grow tremendously as a potter. Under her guidance, my confidence, knowledge, and creative process have expanded exponentially, and I have finally started creating forms I am truly proud of. The owner, Dominic, has also been an incredible resource, always offering direction, support, and encouragement. Whether you have done pottery before and want to return to it, or you have never touched clay and want to try something new, The Pot Shop is a wonderful place to begin. With three great clay bodies to choose from, beautiful glazes, reasonable pricing, plenty of weekly classes, and talented, supportive instructors, this is the place to explore your creativity.”
