This is my rating based on 10 years of experience at this particular 7-Eleven. They may have changed ownership at some point over the years. The current ownership is stellar.”
“Best paninis in Chicago hands down. The staff and sandwiches here are constantly friendly and delicious. Open 24 hours is so convenient and they have everything you could ever need. If you are in the area stop by for a sandwich, you will not regret it. The prices are also very fair and affordable, especially in this economy. Don’t sleep on the breakfast sandwiches either!”
“We go there twice a month for our tobacco products. There prices are really good . Usually we have the same lady who is very nice and helpful.,last time we were there we had a disagreement about the way she rang up the prices . It was almost 10 more than usual . When we were able to get her to understand she was kinda of rude and didn’t like seeing she made a mistake. But who does ??? Overall it’s the best tobacco place our here ..”

“I recently discovered Wilmette Market, a newly established, family-owned store near me, and I couldn’t be happier with it! The store is incredibly well-organized, making it easy to find whatever you need. Their prices are great and very reasonable, especially for the quality of the items they offer.
Harry, one of the owners, is extremely helpful and always goes out of his way to assist with finding things. He’s super friendly and makes you feel welcome every time you stop by. His father is equally kind and approachable, making this market a warm and inviting place to shop.
Whether you’re looking for alcohol, snacks, or other kinds of drinks, Wilmette Market has it all. I highly recommend that people in the area stop by and check it out. Not only will you find great products, but you’ll also meet some genuinely nice people. Harry and his father are the kind of people you’d want to make friends with—they’re just that chill!

“I love Eddys food mart! Lived a few blocks away and I still go to it. They have lots of vegan free ice cream pints for like $7 and dairy free Milk. They have lots of regular items too I usually got and get nachos for my mom. The owner is really nice and I really enjoyed coming here :)”

“I live in Chicago and work in Des Plaines. And this gas station has the cheapest gas anywhere that I've been to. And they also have everything you need in their convenience store including Subway. Highly recommend it.”

“I've stopped in many times in the past to purchase beers from their excellent selection, but today I enjoyed a cup of coffee for the first time. They serve Dark Matter drip coffee, which was smooth and flavorful. They also offer a variety of free sweeteners/"milks" too. My coffee with agave and oat milk was as good as the lattes I usually order from other coffee shops, but it cost half the price of those other places! And for those who bemoan the loss of indoor seating at the other coffee shop down the block, Rockwell Bottle Shop & Coffee has a nice, cozy seating area in the back plus bar seating depending on your preference. Very friendly service too! I plan to make this my new go-to coffee spot in the hood.”

“You can use your Link Card to purchase non-food items and they sell Knock off Cigarette $11 a pack. Poor folks Keep this stop open. You can use your Link Card to purchase anything. A Great Store if you poor. Cigaretts is dirt cheap. They will give you cash for your link Card. Everybody is treated with Love. They are all A Child of God. They closed down so they can pray with the family everyday and they come back and do illegal activities”

“I wish they were back to 24/7 and when they had competitive gas prices. I used to drive out of the way to come here for the cheaper gas, but now they're the same as everywhere else. They still have the $4 car wash that includes free vacuuming, and the vacuums are incredibly strong (too strong, honestly).”

“My favorite family pantry/ liquor store, they always give amazing service. Even when coming late and the guys is closing he will still wait and let you take your time they don't rush you like other places do when closing up. I used to travel to other places even though I live close to them because the people that used to own it would always rush me even if was close to an hour before they closed but the new owners and staff are extremely nice and always helpful. And as I'm a person who doesn't consume alcohol I like they have have a good variety of vapes, chips, sodas, and other snacks. Highly recommend this store!”

He sells Islamic decorations at the best prices. The Islamic decoration we bought where only 14.00 witch is very cheap for the quality. Usually at other stores it’s like 999% increase for the items he sells. This store is also the cheapest store that I ever been to.”

“had a Wellcare insurance screw up on a drug refill. Pharmacist, Anita Chabo, not only persevered with the Wellcare help line for 1.5 hours, she did all of her regular duties multitasking them and my problem, and prevailed! She saved me $600 on a script that Wellcare had approved as “covered” in 2024 but their pharma system could not get that info properly into the Walgreens system. Anita Chabo is a Superstar.”
