“Perfect grocery store for college students who want good beer and exotic snacks. Definitely not an affordable option for most groceries, but their well curated beer, cider, and seltzer selection is a draw. Great employees as well.”

“I love that they got them chips and dranks that you only can get in a neighborHOOD store most of ya, should not be in a big city mile radius of. That priorly scripted is not what makes it a fresh kinda like "Spike Lee Joint"They got volume of stuff your fresher, more city acclaimed, and straight up cooler (then the others) your best Aunt and/or Uncle prefers to munch down on or have a sip of. “The young man and a bit older gentleman that work here are incredible. The store is always nice and clean. It’s not these two hard working guys’ fault but the bums that hang out in front of this place, especially the white kid with the mustache need to go but the only people who could fix that are the police run by the city council, who’ve let downtown Evanston turn into a cesspool of vagrants and retail vacancies. I’m consistently harassed, mocked, and threatened by these drunks every time I’m near the store.”
“This is hands down one of the best gas stations in the area! The employees are always so friendly, welcoming, and ready to help with anything you need. You can really tell they care about their customers. The customer service is top-notch — they go above and beyond every time.
The store itself has a great variety of products — from everyday essentials to snacks, drinks, and more. It’s always clean, well-stocked, and organized, which makes shopping here a pleasant experience.

“I love this store!! I live 2 blocks from a different 7 Eleven but don't go there because of their attitude and rudeness. At this 7-Eleven you feel welcome. You are greeted when you enter, thanked when you leave. JP,Satich, and Mac have always been helpful, kind, and patient with me and other customers I've observed. The store is immaculate and it is rare that someone is not cleaning something when I go there. We ran into our upstairs neighbor here. She comes for the same reason, friendly courteous service! The food is always fresh and tasty. I am booked on their Poor boy sandwiches, all the sandwiches are good but the Poorboys are the best!! They sell everything you need except liquor. Shop here and be treated like a valued customer!!!”

“For all the times I've walked into Walgreens, this is the 1st time I'm leaving a review. I'd rate most of my experiences to a solid "meh" until today!! I just met the most amazing Maria! I was mumbling to myself about sparking water. She overheard me and walked me to where it was. I'm pretty sure that she was on a break. It's hot out. I'm thirsty. Having some water is like winning the lotto. I walk up to the register in a long line and guess who is running to open another register?! Maria! She notices a Nick in a water bottle I was purchasing for my niece. It was the last one. She asked for me .. without me asking!.. if I could get a discount. I did! And then to finish it all off .. she leaves me with a tip.. make your Walgreens purchases online and then schedule for pick-up. Chances are high on cost savings... there you have it. Maria at Walgreens in Evanston is the bomb!!”

“A very clean and well-organized store. I love the feel of it. One thing that I must, must, comment on is their buffalo wings. Although it is on the pricier side, this 7-11 has surprisingly the best wings I've had in a long while. It does not have an overwhelming flavor but has an amazing texture. Would recommend trying their buffalo wings.”

“I hate the kiosk for the pharmacy - but I don't blame the workers (and please don't if you go yourself, they don't have a say. I see way too many people yelling at them for no reason). The pharmacy staff, though, have been great towards me! Sometimes prescriptions have been messed up or a refill order got lost, but they have always been more than helpful with getting things fixed!”
