Prescriptions are handled efficiently, and even when things are busy, the team remains calm and professional. It’s reassuring to have a pharmacy where you feel taken care of and not rushed. “Norris Bookstore excels through the decades! My first experience here was in 1990 as an NU freshman—the staff were kind, helpful and efficient, making the whole experience so easy. Thirty-five years later, on the first day of Fall Quarter classes, I wandered into the bookstore this morning and the vibe is exactly the same—staff busily ensuring all the students, new and retuning alike, have just what they need to succeed in the classes. A special shout-out to General Mgr Steve who was in the aisles helping out a confused student—Steve was knowledgeable, empathetic and efficient. It’s wonderful to see the culture of this place has stayed true to the highest level of customer service through almost 4 decades!”

“I love that they got them chips and dranks that you only can get in a neighborHOOD store most of ya, should not be in a big city mile radius of. That priorly scripted is not what makes it a fresh kinda like "Spike Lee Joint"They got volume of stuff your fresher, more city acclaimed, and straight up cooler (then the others) your best Aunt and/or Uncle prefers to munch down on or have a sip of. “This is hands down one of the best gas stations in the area! The employees are always so friendly, welcoming, and ready to help with anything you need. You can really tell they care about their customers. The customer service is top-notch — they go above and beyond every time.
The store itself has a great variety of products — from everyday essentials to snacks, drinks, and more. It’s always clean, well-stocked, and organized, which makes shopping here a pleasant experience.
Overall, I couldn’t recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for a gas station with honest service, great people, and everything you need in one stop, this is it!”

“The young man and a bit older gentleman that work here are incredible. The store is always nice and clean. It’s not these two hard working guys’ fault but the bums that hang out in front of this place, especially the white kid with the mustache need to go but the only people who could fix that are the police run by the city council, who’ve let downtown Evanston turn into a cesspool of vagrants and retail vacancies. I’m consistently harassed, mocked, and threatened by these drunks every time I’m near the store.”

“Not jewel, but has Tabasco needs and such covered, plus a few basics…it’s like 7/11 but family owned. There is a bag fee if you want one, but that’s just Evanston as a whole. No plastic and a bag is more than $.25 a bag.Same at jewel.”

“I love this store!! I live 2 blocks from a different 7 Eleven but don't go there because of their attitude and rudeness. At this 7-Eleven you feel welcome. You are greeted when you enter, thanked when you leave. JP,Satich, and Mac have always been helpful, kind, and patient with me and other customers I've observed. The store is immaculate and it is rare that someone is not cleaning something when I go there. We ran into our upstairs neighbor here. She comes for the same reason, friendly courteous service! The food is always fresh and tasty. I am booked on their Poor boy sandwiches, all the sandwiches are good but the Poorboys are the best!! They sell everything you need except liquor. Shop here and be treated like a valued customer!!!”

“A very clean and well-organized store. I love the feel of it. One thing that I must, must, comment on is their buffalo wings. Although it is on the pricier side, this 7-11 has surprisingly the best wings I've had in a long while. It does not have an overwhelming flavor but has an amazing texture. Would recommend trying their buffalo wings.”
“I hate the kiosk for the pharmacy - but I don't blame the workers (and please don't if you go yourself, they don't have a say. I see way too many people yelling at them for no reason). The pharmacy staff, though, have been great towards me! Sometimes prescriptions have been messed up or a refill order got lost, but they have always been more than helpful with getting things fixed!”
