“The doctors are excellent, though my only interactions with the surgeon was having my two cats put down. Dr Kelley always explained things and looked for alternatives. My cat was very nervous coming in but would calm down with Dr. Kelley. That said, the staff is impersonal and at times make it feel like caring for a pet interrupts their day. Didn't even get my cat's name right when they put her down and didn't give me anything to remember her by (like paw prints).”

“Dr. Abraham quickly determined that our cat Sigge didn't have a virus or bacterial infection (as diagnosed at the urgent care the day before), but that he had something stuck in his intestine. Doctor Abraham took an X-ray and gave Sigge Barium. She explained everything and let us know what to expect should the Barium not work (another X-ray and surgery asap). Thankfully the Barium worked and by the next morning Sigge was feeling MUCH better (see picture). Doctor Abraham was very sweet and we felt Sigge was well taken care of.
Beach Park Animal Hospital has been Sigge's vet since 2019. We go every year for checkups and shots. The team is always friendly and professional. This time we had to come in with a sick cat and we are so grateful for the accurate assessment and help.”

“Banfield Hospital in Gurnee is by far my favorite one! The staff is always pleasant they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Last time I took my dog and the veterinary technician helped me take him to the doctor while I carried my son. This was just simply amazing as a new mom and a dog mom it can become a bit overwhelming. Today I just took my childhood dog and we have been going to banfield for more than 15 years, he never like to come to the vet it was always a battle, the technician was kind enough to take her time and make him feel comfortable. Thank you Banfield Gurnee once again for the phenomenal service.”
