“My headlight went out and I needed a new one. Called a parts store to see if they had one in stock. They did but no one was available to put it on my car. They suggested Jiffy Lube. Took my vehicle to the Avon Jiffy Lube. Took only a few minutes to replace. Very interesting, you get to the headlights through the wheelwell. Quick, efficient and I was good to go. Reasonable price for their effort!!Appears to be a family owned business that is really wanting to do good work. I will be stopping by for my next oil change.”

“The first time I used their services was a few years ago when I was considering buying a used car. I just took it in for them to evaluate. He took it back and looked it over then took it for a test ride. I was there for over an hour. They said that they couldn't find anything wrong with the car and considered it a good value. I wanted to pay them something for their time but he said not to worry about it but just bring it back when I needed servicing. Sadly, I didn't bring it back as often as I should have but, instead, used the local car dealer. What in expensive mistake! I caught the dealer trying to cheat me by trying to convince me that I needed new brakes and new tires when, in fact, I did not. This was confirmed by the place I had purchased the tires and by Alexander checking the brakes. I want my car service place to be honest, efficient, and to do quality work. The local car dealer was not any of those but Alexander Auto Repair has proven to be all of those. I will never deal with the local car dealer again but I will never NOT bring my car to Alexander for service every again. Besides being excellent and honest mechanics, they are friendly and explain things so I can understand what they are doing to my car. I'm very happy that I found them (again).”

“My step daughters car broke down in Cloverdale. We had it towed to the nearest mechanic. That was a Sunday. By Wednesday afternoon they finally had time to diagnose the issue. Not real excited about the additional delay for them to repair it, I had it towed (after hours) to Dodson Automotive in Avon. Jeff was able to get it in, up and fixed by Friday around noon. He kept in contact with me regarding the issue and what was needed. Even with extra labor and a few extra parts not quoted by the other mechanic, he was still able to come in for less than they quoted for just one of the issues. “I took my 2009 Toyota Tacoma to Bones because some dump truck driver had pelted the hood of my truck with gravel and it needed repaired and painted. Jim also said he could fix the cloudy headlight covers, so I got on his list and eventually got the truck to him. I am so very pleased with the work he`s done. The hood looks great, the paint matches the rest of the truck paint extremely well, and the headlight covers look fantastic. His price was fantastic. Bones is where I`ll go from now on if I need bodywork/vehicle painting done.”

“I had a great experience with Paul. My charger’s check engine light came on, Andy Mohr CDJR told me my lifters were bad and it would be $9000 to fix it. I called around for a second opinion and Paul told me he would take a look. Even said worst case he could put a reman engine in with a 3 year warranty for probably similar money (he’d have to price it to be sure). After reading the code he suspected an electrical issue with solenoids and we set up a time for him to go thru it. He replaced the solenoids which immediately cleared the check engine light. I’ve been driving it a couple days now and no issues. I really appreciate that he took the time to correctly diagnose my issue and get me back on the road.”

“I can highly recommend this Auto shop, the owner is directly involved in the day-day business of working with his technicians. They are honest and very knowledgeable and forthright about their diagnosis. For example I had a problem with my BMW, that was being recommended to replace brakes and calipers by BMW dealership! Avon auto told me that all I had was a rotor wearing problem, WOW! That’s a huge difference in cost of diagnostics… Huge! This is not the first time that I’ve taken my car there and gotten a different diagnosis on what needs done! It certainly won’t be the last time I take it there either! Love these guys!”
