“For a long time, Lowes was a hassle. Over the past year or so, they've changed remarkably. More staff, better inventory, more selection of things that I need as a homeowner and gardener. Where it was gruesome, people are helpful, there's enough staff, their prices are average to insane-- which is normal these days. I don't mind going there. Kliendorfer's is still the best for hardware-- unbeatable. But for a lot of items in the home improvement and gardening areas, Lowes has become useful. I do not go to Menards. No way. Too much shoddy products in the lumber yard.”
