“Needed some repairs/adjustments on some older commercial steel doors and Jeff was professional, patient, and took the time to ensure the service was done properly. He wasn't in a rush to get to the next job and did a great job with the doors.”
“I never make google reviews but this place was worth my first. I am a power wheelchair user and have had issues on multiple occasions of screws snapping, parts breaking, and others that would normally require me to go through insurance and a repair shop and spend hours. Just today, I walked up, got assistance for someone to remove the old screw that was snapped, replaced it, and all it cost was the price of the screw. I truly haven't ever had a more helpful experience with people who knew what they were talking about and happy to help. If I could rate this place 6 stars, I'd want to rate them 7. If you have any sort of mobility issues and think it could be fixed with metal parts alone, come here and you won't be disappointed.”

On the rental side, they ask really helpful questions about what I'm looking to do, and offer multiple suggestions for how to achieve it. They're honest about pricing, and always quick to offer options that are more cost-effective, while explaining any trade-offs involved. There's a great variety of equipment, and they have trailers you can rent along with the equipment if you don't have your own.
On the retail side, it's very well-stocked for the square footage. When I came in mid-car-project, they worked with me to come up with a combination of pipes/breaker bars that gave me the leverage I needed. (Still use that combo of tools years later!)

“I love this store so much sometimes I invent reasons to go there. But seriously, they are always so helpful (many times they are literally standing at the front door waiting to help people as they come in) and I can get exactly what I need and how many I need (screws, clips, washers or whatever small item you need that is kept in bins and sold individually), a key made, cleaning supplies and I’ve even bought my crickets for my bearded dragon. Might be the best store in Bloomington.”
