The people in Brookston are sooo lucky to have it! nice,friendly,staff and great, fair prices!!We love to sometimes go in for the broasted chicken and potato wedges that are always fresh and hot! Where else can you get an 8 piece chicken (your choice of what type you want) for less than 10 bucks!Even if youlive out of town or just passing through Brookston its worth it to check it out!”

“Store is always nice and clean and staff professional and helpful. The parking lot over the last few days have been a mess. It is only half plowed and who ever did it, did a terrible job. Sidewalks weren't shoved completely. Looked like 1 swipe with a shovel so if someone was walking you had to step down into the lot to get passed.”

“Finally, something close to home! Always well stocked! Most staff members are super friendly like a small town general store :) Did have one cashier (who I'd never met in there before) check me out while talking to a loved one on her bluetooth. I kept thinking she was talking to me especially when she said "How's your day going?" Nope! Not meant for me...LOL It was her boo she was talking to. Then she proceeded to complain to her boo about how busy she has been for the last 2 1/2 hours. Wanna know how much engagement she had with me? She told me my total... STILL MY FAVORITE DOLLAR GENERAL. She won't be there long.”
