109 W Main St, ChesterfieldUnexpected find when in Chesterfield for the Independence Day air show and fireworks. Not being from the area my friend and I were looking for a place to grab a bite before the airshow started . We saw the cute Bar N Que spots and decided to try it. What we had no idea about was the scheduled entertainment on their covered patio.
The menu was enticing with lots of options, the gentleman taking orders pleasant and the patio relaxing on a gorgeous 4th night. Our food was interesting and very tasty. I took the recommendation of the staff and got the sausage on my sampler platter. I loved the sausage! The pulled pork was tender and plentiful, plus I enjoyed the bourbon sauce. I ordered the baked beans which was a unique combination of varying beans. Different but good.
The last pleasant surprise was the enjoyable band playing. They played a varied selection of different genres. A lot more talent than you might expect at this small restaurant.
Definitely a place to try when in the area.
