I've been going here for maybe 4 years now. We used to live 15 minutes away and we moved downtown last year - now the trip is more like 35 or 45 with traffic. I would probably still take my dogs here if we lived 2 HOURS away.

The staff are just the most down-to-earth, kind, understanding, and helpful people. They're so good with my dogs - which is saying something because my Westie acts like a demon at the vet. They also work with my gigantic Giant Schnauzer like expert handlers, which isn't even something I can do easily.

We almost always have Dr. Harbin and he is the gold standard in my opinion. He provides the best care, always looks out for, of course our dogs but also, our wallet. I appreciate so much that numbers are talked about before anything is done - and prices are very reasonable. I also SO appreciate that in the past when my Westie tore his ACL, that he didn't push a surgery on us that I really did not want. I have felt condescension from other vet clinics in the past - that isn't something you'll find at this clinic.

Dr. Harbin and his team always provide excellent education on our dogs' health and they help us make informed decisions with them, rather than being told what to do - something I have found is becoming very common in city vet clinics.

Every now and then, if traffic is really terrible on the way there, I wonder if we could find somewhere closer. On the trip back, it is always crystal clear to me why we won't switch. We will continue to go here even if every inch of highway is under construction forever.

This place is amazing. Wonderful, smooth black coffee. Lots of flavor options (including sugar free). Great Americano. The inside is designed with so many pockets of space to socialize. A sweet gem of a store. Make sure to stop by!!!

Trax BBQ

7724 Depot St, McCordsville

Hands down the absolute best BBQ I have ever tasted. It was just straight fire. The sides including the coleslaw and Mac was out of this world. We did not care for the green beans as they were stringy and I hate stringy beans. I wish I knew they stuffed their own sausage because that would have been an addition. We also got the cherry chocolate chip bread pudding and banana pudding which they did not disappoint either. The only other improvement they could make besides the green beans is the building has no ac. So eating was a warm experience but it was all worth it. I fed my family of 5 with a half sheet and we still had leftovers even tho we wanted to keep eating. This is my new place and will be yours too if you try it.
