“Clean, well-maintained, room is a basic setup. Microwave, mini-fridge, small sofa, desk. The shower maintained hot water, had good pressure, and was spacious. Heavenly after a long day. King bed was comfortable, and pillows were fresh and fluffy. Good go-to.”

“We stayed at Chateau Bourbon B&B for our 20th anniversary. It was the best experience! The location was great! Walking distance to everything you could need. The food and hospitality was top notch. The B&B was spectacular. We will certainly be coming back.”

“We had our wedding in the Picasso room and it was honestly the most beautiful and amazing night. I loved how we were allowed to use our own catering services and how much time we had the room. Also the lighting on the ceiling is gorgeous and made everything feel magical. The bridal suit was the perfect size for my five bridesmaids and me to get ready with our hair/makeup artist.”

“Beth, Cheryl, and Keith were wonderful docents who answered all my many niche questions. I enjoyed learning about the many generations and families that have lived here, including the servants perspectives and the retirement home. The preservation and restoration is very high quality. There are ghost stories associated with the site too so very cool and worth a visit!”

“I had a wonderful time meeting Ledisi. The concert was fabulous. Raheem sang, a true entertainer with his musical instrument, his voice. Ledisi, OMG, she is a powerhouse. Her voice is like hearing the ringing of beautiful church bells.”

“So nice to see so many genuinely nice people gather together to celebrate German heritage. The facility is clean and well-kept, and the food and beer are outstanding! A safe and friendly environment where the whole family can relax and enjoy some real German hospitality. I absolutely love this place!”

“My husband and I stayed here for our 5 year wedding anniversary and the experience was amazing! The moment we walked in, we were greeted with the amazing smell of smoky wood that really sets the mood for the entire stay. The warm aesthetic follows you through the hotel. All of the staff we interacted with were incredibly welcoming and seemed genuinely joyful to see us. The location on whiskey row was central to so many great bars and places to eat. There is even a speakeasy around the block! As natives to Louisville that relocated for college and careers, coming back and staying at Hotel Distil was truly the best place we could have stayed for our anniversary!Rooms: Spacious and welcoming!”

“Great Venue to see Live Music. Very Nice Location, Overlooking The Ohio River, The Beautifully Illuminated Walking Bridge, I65 Bridges, Second Street Bridge, the Downtown Louisville Skyline and The Nicely Re-Designed Downtown Jeffersonville IN Area. Also there is an abundance of Restaurants, Bars, and Local Businesses as Well.”

“A beautiful stadium in a beautiful setting. A good game and a nice walk all the way around the stadium just because. The only drawback was the various issues with the LED boards around the stadium, mainly in right field. PA Announcer and music were excellent as expected from a veteran behind the mic!! From a general standpoint and this is more toward suppliers, but there isn't anything unique in team stores anymore that you "have to buy" when you go. Plenty of hats and shirts, but nothing really unique. This isn't toward the Bats, but more in general during this trip.”

“I want to express him how cordial and accommodating Mark and Bridgid both have been. We always felt like family while there. Because our company has grown, we had to seek a larger facility. We will miss seeing and speaking with them on a daily basis. They continue to try and make the facility more accommodating by adding insulation and soundproofing to conference rooms. They created a place on the fourth floor for a sound studio. I don’t think a person would ever regret using this place for a short or long term office.”

“An okay muesuem- nice space with some interesting pieces in an accesable location; but it seems arbitrarily and capricious in design and nature of the collection. It feels like, and I suspect it might be, some individuals vast and random collection of old things in many cases. Another plus, the staff were friendly and the layout is nice.”

“The people were extremely helpful. We saw Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince with the Louisville Orchestra playing the music soundtrack. It was a wonderful night”

“Our wedding was so beautiful, and I could not have asked for a better day! Amber helped us plan every step of the way, and always had wonderful suggestions. The caterer, and DJ that came with our package were so wonderful! We have so many wonderful memories made from our wedding day, and they made us feel important and seen. We had one issue, but they made everything right, and really listened. I could not imagine having a wedding planned any other way! I cannot recommend this venue enough! Thank you for making our day so wonderful, and so much better than I could have imagined! Photos courtesy of our wonderful photographer, Rick Zimmerman!”

“Awesome experience! We were at a sister hotel that wasn’t our vibe, so walked over to the Moxy to check out their availability. We were greeted by Kaylee who made the transfer seamless for us! Cant say one negative thing about the hotel or staff, everyone was great! Cassie helped us checkout and went above and beyond. Oh and the Tacos and drinks are top notch!”

“Beautiful place for a wedding. Linda (the owner) was amazing. She was so helpful and answered all the questions we had. She worked with us to make the special day perfect. We also had her cater the rehearsal dinner and wedding. Her food was absolutely delicious. Would definitely use her again.”

“The atmosphere is great, tho the sounds accumulate and it was hard to talk at times. If you want a quiet place to speak to your date, perhaps not the place. But if you want to chat with your neighbors at the communal table, the vibe is there for it.So I really enjoyed the flavors of the hummus platter and the presentation was pretty. But as you get to the thicker end of the carrots it became hard to bite off a piece. I think this could be easily solved by the carrots being sliced lengthwise. It would still look great and it would be a more enjoyable experience. The pretzel didn't quite have the pretzel flavor, but the flakes of salt and thickness of the bread made up for that. I ordered the mustard since it didn't have dairy in it, but definitely received a cheese sauce. My partner enjoyed the garbanzo bean burger and said he would've appreciated the patty being less mushy. The drinks had fun names and alluring flavor combos! I enjoyed the Marky Mark and the Funky Punch.”

“This was a great tour! While more relaxed than other distillery tours the tight-knit family and team make the experience well worth it. On this tour you get to learn about not just their bourbon but other spirits as well as all about prohibition and how it influenced the company. There were several tastings and in the end I was able to actually theive my own bottle straight out of the barrel. Overall, a fantastic experience with great people. Highly reccomended!”

“An amazing home that has successfully dodged the destruction of time and progress. Our tour guide was quiet and informative and had history with the home which helped the narration. The home’s exterior and interior both are truly majestic marvels to behold; definitely worth the meager ticket price and an hour or less commitment!I will say I am not much on the whole “Haunted Old House” thing that seems to be common with these types of places as I feel it cheapens the experience. It would also have been nice to have had more information regarding the Victorian lives of the inhabitants as it would have helped to bring to life what we saw. Also, for some reason through the years all the front foliage has been eradicated (see last picture from 1979). Nevertheless, it is a great place to go to spend time with the New Albany royalty of the day!”

“Went to pagan pride. I look forward to this every year! Got to take my daughter for her first time this year. Everything was perfect... until some rude guys came with cameras and microphones claiming to be Christian and starting arguments. Cops couldn't do anything about it. I avoided them cause I don't have any act right or patients for rude folks. Pagan pride was amazing though”

“Wonderful experience at the pool, they have a beautiful, clean facility. Everyone was kind and helpful. We went to the pool on a Sunday and danced to a live band and ate a delicious payeya. It was such a delightful afternoon.”

“Gorgeous, well shaded, beautiful trees, heart (ish) of Old Louisville. Easy access to downtown if driving, along metro bus line.Playground: Newly renovated, very funRestrooms: There are restrooms located in the building that houses both the police station and the Visitors Center, but the access and availability of said bathrooms is very much a mystery. Better to "go" before you go.”

“We came here for the Halloween Pumpkin Extravaganza. Each year there is a different theme. The theme this year was not my favorite, but the pumpkin carving was not disappointing. They do such an awesome job. Came on a motorcoach trip and they took very good care of us. We ate 1st upon arrival. We were taken right in past the line to start the walk through. If you have older persons, you may want to bring a flashlight to help your walk through. Be aware that the path is good, but you will go up hill and down hill.”

“This morning my husband and I attended the very last tour for the 2023 season of "Unfolding the Story: The Enslaved Community at Locust Grove." This was a coincidence — we just happened to be visiting Louisville on the final weekend — and I'm so glad that we didn't miss it. What a meaningful way to connect with the history of the enslaved community at Locust Grove and to ensure that the full story is sensitively told & heard. Highly recommended for locals and travelers alike. If you missed it this year, the 2024 season resumes again in April and continues through next October. Well worth the trip.”

“Excellent spot to take in the Ohio and learn the importance of the water company to the city (and surrounding areas.) The space is used by locals throughout the year for various festivals, Reggaefest and Steamboat Race are of personal note. Easy access to good food/parks within 10 minutes.”
