“I was so nervous about throwing my daughter the perfect bridal shower, but The Carriage House at the Howard Steamboat Museum made the entire day absolutely flawless. The venue is stunning, warm, and full of charm — the perfect backdrop for such a special celebration.

Cynthia was truly incredible from start to finish. She helped us all day with such patience, kindness, and professionalism. Every detail was handled with care, and she made sure everything ran smoothly so I could actually relax and enjoy the moment with my daughter. Her support meant more than she knows.

“Lakeside Reflections has provided by far the BEST experience I’ve had with venues! My husband and I celebrated our 10 year vow renewal here last weekend and we are more than pleased with the services offered! They also offer multiple rooms that you can choose to host your event! The staff were very welcoming and pleasant; you can tell they are all about family and they made us feel like family. Catherine is very detailed and thorough with all of her work; even with planning before the big day. They provided recommendations for photographers, bakeries, and even chair rentals if you need them. We also met Dean who is also very organized and knows how to get the party started! Lakeside reflections has made the process of planning so simple that I didn’t have to lift a finger when it was time for the big day. Even our guest mentioned that they enjoyed everything the venue offered. We would definitely recommend lakeside reflections when planning your next event. 10/10!!”

“We recently hosted an event at this venue and we were incredibly pleased. From the moment we arrived eveything was so organized, prepared , very clean and the atmosphere was comfortable for our attendees. This venue is very spacious. The staff was amazing to work with, they gave their professional opinions and advice which is super helpful when planning an event for over 100 people. We chose their catering option and our food was ready, fresh a great mix of choices that was delicious. Every detail was thought out for us, which allowed us to focus on our event. “The Jefferson was a beautiful spot for a wedding. The ceremony was held outside on the deck, with the city skyline in the background. A huge floral chandelier hung above the couple, and with the sunset behind them, it looked straight out of a magazine.

Inside, everything felt well in hand, and the bartenders kept the drinks flowing without long waits. Parking was ample, so getting in and out was easy.

My fiancé and I were so impressed that we’re now looking into the venue for our own wedding. It felt like the kind of place we could celebrate as well.”

“I can't believe we're allowed to bring our pets and we have a variety! There was something for everyone in the family here . A fire pit NEXT to a pool and hot tub, the gym actually had a water cooler .The hot tub was so warm after our drive it's just what we needed.The low lighting and ambience of the rooms made it easy for us to sleep in and thanks to Harvey for waffles and Autumn,everyone in housekeeping was very attentive to our particular needs! The kitchens make it really feel more like home.We took the walk over the bridge and saw the most amazing view of the Louisville skyline .We will be back for Abby road and the derby.”

“I stay here every time I travel to Louisville. It’s SO easy to get to downtown from the Sheraton. The Sheraton has: ample parking, a safe location, a scenic view of the Ohio river, comfortable rooms, great breakfast every morning, helpful staff. Take my highest recommendation!”
