Centra Credit Union began when eight employees of the Cummins Engine Company came together to find a convenient place to save their hard-earned money while having access to low-cost credit. This foundational principle of "People Helping People" led to the growth of Centra Credit Union and is still at the center of who we are. As a not-for-profit financial institution, our profits go back to you in the form of cash rewards, better rates, and lower fees. When you open an account at Centra, you become one of the owners of the Credit Union. Centered Around You: that’s the Centra promise. It’s about the relationships we have with our Members and the fact that our Members are the reason for everything we do.
Sometimes they have only a couple of people working the counters and the line can be a 30+ min wait. If you can do the drive-thru I highly recommend it. Everyone is always nice and I always get done what I need to.
