She taught me how to change a headlight in a 19 equinox, I know doesn't seem hard but she came to the rescue and had it changed in a heartbeat, you need more employees like her, she was very understanding and didn't laugh at me for not knowing how to change it when I should have known already by common knowledge. So I thank her big time and will keep doing my business there, the whole crew are great.”
“The workers will never be paid enough for the hard work they put in. This company used to be a place for good parts with multiple, stackable coupons and discounts. Now, their prices are high and the discounts are low. I can't say it's greed given the atrocious fiscal policies of the installed former VP but, I've gone back to my wholesale supplier for better prices.

“Best place to get parts. Parts are in stock and the only things they have to order are maybe parts for new vehicles or something that could be a little out of the norm. Employees are helpful and friendly. It's also so refreshing to NOT have to hear, everytime you go in, "we have to order that because we don't have it in stock". That's how you keep customers coming back!!”
“I stopped by Tom and Ed's Body Shop about a week ago to have them look at a minor repair. The valance, the black trim below the front bumper, had popped loose on the passenger side of the car. I had just left a dealership in Merrillville that had quoted me almost $300. They told me they were giving me a "deal" at that price. I felt it was an excessive amount and decided to stop by Tom and Ed's on my way home to get a second opinion.
They took me right away and someone came out front and looked at the car right away. The gentleman that looked at it, went in the back and got one of his auto body guys to also look at it. His name is Cody. Cody asked if he could pull it around back to get a better look at it. I, of course, said yes and we all jumped out of the car and went into the waiting room.
About 10 minutes later Cody came into the waiting room and said, "ok, you're all set to go". I asked how much I owed him and he said, "nothing". Cody walked us outside, explained what he did, shook my hand, and wished us well.
It's not very often, but every once in a while, someone reminds me there are good decent people in the world. Cody is definitely one of those. I wanted to make sure I posted something on my experience because people like this deserve your business. I had a minor job to look at and they treated me like a customer with a big money repair. On top of the dignified way I was treated, they took me right away and did not charge me a single penny. This is the kind of place I think anyone would appreciate.
And Cody, you are a fine young man. I have three kids, 9 grandkids, and 2 great grandchildren. I would be very proud of any one of them if they behave as you did. Tom and Ed's is very lucky to have you.”
