“Experienced an oil leak on my truck after an oil change performed by Shifferly Automotive. I contacted them and they picked up my truck from my home, found the issue, corrected it and returned the truck to my home. There was a stray piece of debris causing the oil filter to not seat properly which was virtually impossible to detect by the mechanic when they installed the new filter. This certainly was not the fault of the mechanic, yet Shifferly went above and beyond to correct the issue. I am very pleased with their service and highly recommend them. Thank you Shifferly Automotive.”
“The owners are so nice! They priced me fairly, communicated what was going on, and went out of their way to be kind to me. They obviously love their family as their office is plastered with pics of their grandchildren and children everywhere with toys hidden here and there for their grandkids to play. It’s genuinely a family business, you can tell. I will absolutely recommend going to them for most mechanical needs. (They don’t do transmission but everything else can be done there.) The work was well done, the pricing fair, and they were quick to get our vehicle back to us. 10/10.”

“These guys are absolute life savers. I was making a 300 mile road trip when I blew a tire about 20 miles from this shop on a Friday night, 25 minutes before they closed. They were the only store open around within 60 miles and when I called, they walked me through what I could do myself to help my tire in a clear manner. These guys then kept the store open late for me to being my car in to fix my tire. I offered them money out of my pocket and they refused it. I only paid $15 to get out of a potentially weekend ruining situation because the three guys on duty, Jeremy, Adam, and I believe the third guy's name was Jason, helped me when no else could or would. These are some high-character individuals who are deserving of a raise or at least a bonus for outstanding work and kindness to sacrifice some of their Friday to help someone in need. This was on Friday, June 27th around 7:15 PM.
I also should mention, their tire patch was fast (10 minutes) and works perfect; I have had no issues since.
I would be happy to blow out my tire in the Decatur area again.”
