“I feel like this is not as discounted or cheaper by any means! Some of the stuff is more expensive and almost out of date. However, they do run food meat specials and they have the best strawberry and Pumpkin cheesecake rolls!! Staff is super nice and the store is always spotless!”

“This is one of the locations that offer some fresh produce. Which can be good and bad at times. The fruit goes bad fairly quickly after I buy it tho. They do have several coolers and freezers with lots of different things to choose from. Jay county has very few grocery stores and western Jay county doesn’t have any so this is a decent amenity for the town of Dunkirk.”

“closed during normal business hours for weeks now. this is a prime location with lots of people in the area that shop there. makes you wonder what upper management and corporate are doing to their employees that this place is always understaffed/closed. take care of your employees DG and they will take care of you that means good pay and growth opportunities, benefits, time off and a clear line of communication it really is that simple.”

“You can not return any items unless they have an electric cord.Lots of items. And it's a big mess when you walk in the door. If you look to the left, it's dirty.. could use a vaccuum...and pick up of trash.If you want organized and order do not come to this place.It's as if people are ripping open and throwing stuff and it's a mess.I don't mind looking for things and some items are a good deal.. others can be bought for the same price.”

“This particular Dollar General is in Franklin Indiana. My daughter likes to shop there as it gives her a chance to take a little drive plus she enjoys shopping in a smaller town where the store is not so busy and has less people shopping at the same time. So I rode with her to pick up a few things and it was a nice day and the store is clean and had the products we went for.”
