“This place is sooo amazing and everyone is so kind! Mike and Steph go above and beyond to make sure we get great quality things for great prices!!! All workers greet you with a smile and make sure you are acknowledged as soon as you walk in and instantly make you feel welcomed into the store!!! They are very big about communication so their customer service skills are top notch!!! They have bins you can shop in with great things in store or you can shop their lives!!! You walk into a nice clean building!! Yes, there are other stores like this BUT you will never find the one of a kind bargain store they have!! Ive been to MANY and this one keeps me coming back!!! Ive been shopping for about 2 months now and definitely not disappointed!!!”

“The Only cashier was very helpful, but they only had one Cashier/Lane open. Thankfully everybody had small purchases including me. And the store was very clean. And i was able to get what I came in for (Ibuprofen).”
“This is a very good place to shop. They have decent quality in their produce and the prices are good. They have recently done a lot of upgrades and made the store look very nice. They do a good job with keeping the store organized and well stocked. The employees are always very friendly and helpful. I enjoy being able to save money by bagging my own groceries. And they still even provide the bags. Their meat prices are good and they have a nice selection of meats and cheeses. Their dairy and frozen foods are also very well stocked. This store is a very welcome part of the small community of Hartford City.”

“The stores in Hartford are very outdated. Not that big and do not have half the selection as some of the newer stores. The inventory is very rarely put out all the way and sometimes rude service. Employees are bad about talking about other employees or work situations in front of customers. Kinda rude and very unprofessional.”
“I went for some household supplies and was able to get most of what was on my list. They were out of or didn't have a couple items on my list. I like shopping at DG because items are usually pretty fairly priced. I also buy food items at times when needed. I do miss these stores carrying clothes. I used to buy quite a bit of clothes at DG stores. They still have a few items but not like they used to have. I really don't understand why they did away with their bigger line of clothing as I know many people bought clothing items for the whole family there and it saved them and me as alot of us live on very limited budgets. And it was very affordable to buy clothes there. Alot of us would still prefer them having more clothes instead of more trivial items like more vases & wall art etc. Other than that I do like shopping at DG stores. Some stores tend to carry more items than others but you never know that till you shop there.”

“This is one of the locations that offer some fresh produce. Which can be good and bad at times. The fruit goes bad fairly quickly after I buy it tho. They do have several coolers and freezers with lots of different things to choose from. Jay county has very few grocery stores and western Jay county doesn’t have any so this is a decent amenity for the town of Dunkirk.”
“This particular Dollar General is in Franklin Indiana. My daughter likes to shop there as it gives her a chance to take a little drive plus she enjoys shopping in a smaller town where the store is not so busy and has less people shopping at the same time. So I rode with her to pick up a few things and it was a nice day and the store is clean and had the products we went for.”
“I always find a good bargain in the store. Lots of name brand clothing for fraction of the cost. Find better deals here most of the time than the local goodwill. The employees have always been friendly and helpful. Now, the overall store condition could use some attention but I overall enjoy the store and am glad to have it as an option here in Muncie!”
“It's a four because all the restocking boxes are always out in the Iles and I once found open food and toys so it could be better but if you have extra cash I recommend coming here the prices are really cheap and they have a good selection of items.”
“I came here yesterday and forgot my card after I paid. I can’t remember the name of the employee but she put my card in the safe and when I went back tonight she remembered me and asked if I forgot my card yesterday so when I looked in my wallet, it wasn’t there. It’s in my wallet now!”
