All workers greet you with a smile and make sure you are acknowledged as soon as you walk in and instantly make you feel welcomed into the store!!! They are very big about communication so their customer service skills are top notch!!! They have bins you can shop in with great things in store or you can shop their lives!!! You walk into a nice clean building!! Yes, there are other stores like this BUT you will never find the one of a kind bargain store they have!! Ive been to MANY and this one keeps me coming back!!! Ive been shopping for about 2 months now and definitely not disappointed!!!”

    “I love being able to run in a store and get what I need and quickly get out. Dollar general is my favorite quick store. They seemed to be stocked well even with shortages. The only thing that bothers me is when you know you only have like 15 minutes until they close but you know what you need and where to get it at and they suddenly have a different demeanour and they will shut the lights off Everytime even though they still have 10 minutes. I don't think they should be aloud to do that just for obvious reasons. Other than that.... It's my quick stop.”

    “Good store. Prices are going up like everywhere else. Just know the loss prevention team will follow you aroind rhe store. Just a word to the wise, dont be so obvious. I had no intentions in shoplifting a 2 liter of soda or some craft paint. Or anything else for that matter. But while she was busy keeping an eye on the guy wearing stained carhartts, and work boots, by the way, I seen the three women walk in grab a bunch of things and shove it in thier pockets. Way to go stereotype! Keep watching the man in the WORK CLOTHES, because he obviously has a job and has money to pay for his things.”

    “I went for some household supplies and was able to get most of what was on my list. They were out of or didn't have a couple items on my list. I like shopping at DG because items are usually pretty fairly priced. I also buy food items at times when needed. I do miss these stores carrying clothes. I used to buy quite a bit of clothes at DG stores. They still have a few items but not like they used to have. I really don't understand why they did away with their bigger line of clothing as I know many people bought clothing items for the whole family there and it saved them and me as alot of us live on very limited budgets. And it was very affordable to buy clothes there. Alot of us would still prefer them having more clothes instead of more trivial items like more vases & wall art etc. Other than that I do like shopping at DG stores. Some stores tend to carry more items than others but you never know that till you shop there.”

    “I was pleasantly surprised by the staff at this store while shopping last week. The cashier was so helpful to the elderly man in front of me who was disabled. She helped him load his many purchases into his cart and had a fellow worker help him out to his vehicle. He was very limited in his mobility and this act of kindness really touched my heart. It feels good that some of our retail stores have staff that are willing to go that extra mile. It's definitely stayed with me.”

    “This particular Dollar General is in Franklin Indiana. My daughter likes to shop there as it gives her a chance to take a little drive plus she enjoys shopping in a smaller town where the store is not so busy and has less people shopping at the same time. So I rode with her to pick up a few things and it was a nice day and the store is clean and had the products we went for.”

The employees have always been friendly and helpful. Now, the overall store condition could use some attention but I overall enjoy the store and am glad to have it as an option here in Muncie!”
