“Aldis is a really good place to get some nice items for your pantry. Prices are well priced with a lot of good deals. The store is nice and the staff is pleasant. I always find what I need and more when I go. I have been going to this one for a very long time. It has been about 6 months since I have been there though because my car broke down. I am disabled and the prices are so good that the aisles are generally crowded. Usually a wait in line, but it goes really fast. I don't mind bagging my own groceries because I bag it well and the bags are cheap at 10 cents a bag or I can bring my own. I find soups, veggies, meat, cheese, ice cream, etc there for my liking. I also enjoy the sugar free carbonated beverages that they have as well. Treat yourself to some German chocolate items while you are there or some affordable wine as you go in the door. Milk and eggs are always cheap and on sale also.”
“I'd highly not recommend what staff says when answering a question. I was given answers. I said so if I call the company their gonna tell me no or the same thing. He responded well I really don't know. Becareful the products are great. If it's business related, just go straight to the top for correct answers.”
“Schnucks on the west side of Evansville is a wonderful store! I am impressed by the layout of the supermarket, as I feel that is how a store should look like. What also pleases me is the fact that the market is very clean, well stocked and that the associates are friendly and helpful. In addition, the carts ? are very strong, which are a lot stronger than several grocery store chains. My overall experience was awesome and I will visit this store again when I am back in town.”
“I'll spend all day looking what they have and they happen to have quite a bit, last week I had gone and bought some fresh tomatoes and tea, would recommend to others who want to buy fresh veggies and they have sweets. The staff there are nice and friendly.”

“This was my first time shopping here. I like it! There is a large selection of groceries at discount prices! The fresh produce had the cheapest prices I have seen anywhere in a long time. The meat had very good prices as well. The milk is cheap like at walmart. Most shelf stable products are off brand and priced accordingly. Im not sure yet about the off brand snacks and chips. Overall I would say the fresh fruits and veggies, meat, and low priced milk make it worth going to!”
“Nice place! On the expensive side but from what I saw, a lot of it is organic, fresh items. They have more variety of cheeses than I've ever seen in my life! It was fun looking around!”
“Wow... Some of the best fried chicken your ever going to crunch into. Yes, it's crunchy coating is perfect. We ordered 38 pieces for the high school graduation party for my granddaughter (Ava Bug).
We placed our order 48 hours in advance. It was ready on time. Not before or after the promised time... Right on time. I thought I would pick up the order 10 minutes early... But I had to wait as they bagged up the freshly made chicken.
It was a show stopper folks. Absolutely delicious.”
“I usually stop by and check a couple things to see if they're on sale. Also IGA & Ace Hardware is inside the same store. Somehow Google can't differentiate this.”

“The biggest Asian market I've ever been in. One helpful tip, if you are checking out, you place your basket to the left of the sneezeguard and they slide it down to the register. I looked kinda dumb because I couldn't read the sign that probably said to do that. They were cool about it ?”

I’m giving this store five stars because my experience here was honestly amazing from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine kindness. The staff were very professional, patient, and always ready to help without being pushy. They really made me feel valued as a customer, and that’s something I truly appreciate.
The store is well-organized, clean, and easy to navigate. Everything is displayed so nicely that it makes shopping enjoyable and stress-free. The quality of the products exceeded my expectations, and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. You can tell that they truly care about their customers and take pride in their work.

“Ruler is great they have almost everything you need and their prices and staff are awesome. We shop here frequently and have saved thousands compared to what we spend when we go to Walmart or Wesselmans. I wish they had a larger selection on certain things but all in all I highly recommend.”

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Guanajuato Market and Grill in Evansville, Indiana, and I cannot recommend this gem highly enough! From the moment I walked in, the vibrant atmosphere and warm hospitality set the stage for a delightful experience.
The menu boasts a wonderful variety of authentic Mexican dishes that truly celebrate the flavors of Guanajuato. I tried the tacos al pastor, and they were absolutely fantastic—perfectly seasoned, beautifully presented, and served with fresh toppings that added a wonderful crunch. The homemade salsas had just the right kick, and I found myself going back for more!
What impressed me even more was the market section of the restaurant. It’s a great addition, featuring a wide array of Mexican groceries, spices, and unique ingredients. It’s perfect for anyone looking to recreate that authentic taste at home.
The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed without being intrusive. Their passion for the food and culture was evident, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

“Am a regular shopper who today noticed there is no one around if you have a question. You have greeters and stockers but could find no one to ask a merchandise question. It would be nice if you had someone who roams and asks shoppers if they need help finding things. It does no good to have a lot of merchandise if your shoppers can t find those items. “I visited this Schnucks grocery brand for the first time. It was clean & the staff were helpful. I felt the prices were too high. For example, I wanted to buy a container of Oscar Meyer craving brand ham. It was priced at $6.00. In my hometown in Kentucky, the highest I have ever seen this particular item is $3.98. It generally runs $3.29. I passed on buying this at Schnucks. I ended up buying sliced ham & cheese at the deli. The employee at the deli was very helpful & kind to me.”
“Wonderful store. There are a lot of great selections both in grocery and household products. Shelves are always neatly stocked, helpful associates, clean store, and I've never had to worry about expired items. A little pricey, but they do have Perks.”

“I've gotten the fresh salad bar a few times. It's nice to have that option while on the road. For the most part the salad supplies are fresh. I think most of their prices are inflated, but I will pay for that weighted salad.”
