They even let me use there shop jack!”

“I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the Demotte Citgo. I was thinking it would be a run of the mill gas station then I saw specialty drinks and snacks from Japan, a diverse selection of healthy snacks, and one of my favorite brands of kombucha!! The owner was so kind. I enjoyed chatting with him. If I’m ever driving through Demotte again, I’ll look forward to seeing what new treats they have to offer.”

“I would like to recognize the cashier and suggest she is an excellent person to become management with your company. Her name is Brandy and on a recent
( 05-05-2026 ) she went above and beyond my expectations to insure my satisfaction was to not just mine but to her standards, assisting me with my restaurant order and then with the added item I forgot to place- a half gallon of milk. It may seem trivial to some but I am handicapped and could never have gotten by myself. Very professional and courteous to me to insure my order was 100% complete. She took the time to go and search for the product to insure the half gallon was in stock and even gave me the price and then called me back with the information. Not trivial when I was having the entire order delivered by Richard with
Door Dash . I have faith that someone will recognize Brandy for her service to a very happy customer. Brandy was Humble please let her know how much she did for me .”

“We stop here regularly as we pass through to visit family. It’s always a pleasant experience. The gas prices are competitive, the interior is organized and clean, and the employees are friendly. I particularly appreciate that there is built-in sanitizer on the toilet seats. Also you can see the food being made fresh right there in the store. It’s small but has everything you could need. Great for a quick stop.”

“Family Express is, first and foremost, an express of the family variety. What this means exactly is something you begin to sense the moment you arrive, which is to say, when you are there and not somewhere else. The building is present in a structural sense, and it faces the direction it faces with a quiet confidence that only a building in its position could possess.
The gas, which is outside, is available to those who seek it. Pumps facilitate this in the way that pumps have always facilitated things, through a series of events that begin with pulling up and end with driving away. In between, something happens that is energy-related, and your vehicle participates willingly. Numbers are involved. They resolve. You feel neither worse nor better than you did, but you are, objectively, more fueled.
Inside Family Express, the interior continues. Shelves hold objects at shelf-level, which is where objects on shelves tend to be. Some of these objects are foods, and others are items, and a few occupy a philosophical middle ground that only a gas station convenience store can conjure. The coffee area implies coffee. The hot food section radiates warmth in a way that is both literal and, some might argue, metaphorical.
Employees were observed. They operated within the expected parameters of employee behavior and the visit proceeded in a manner indistinguishable from a visit proceeding.
The cleanliness of the restroom is information I am choosing not to withhold, but also not to provide.
Family Express is a stop. It is your stop if you stop there. Many have. Many will. The road continues on both sides.
Five stars. The express was, in fact, expressed.”

“This loves has a decent amount of parking. I would recommend coming here before it gets too dark. The parking is easy for the most part. You have plenty of space to pull forward and go backwards. They have a working laundry room. The showers ? were all working and the bathroom were clean. You can see an Arby's here for hot food and the staff running it were in good spirits. They have a lot of fuel station. This loves has been for a while, it still delivers a wonderful experience ❤️.”

“Very large rest stop and truck stop with a bunch of parking spots for both semi trucks and passenger vehicles and there's a hotel and a 24 hour gas station/convenience store that sells a large variety of goods from food to stereos. The staff member that I interacted with in the gas station was very friendly. This is the truck stop that the gentleman I currently reside with chooses to park his semi at when he has a load (he can't get his truck in the driveway without messing up the yard at home with a load because there's not enough room at the road with the trees and other properties).”

“Stopped for gas, it was $4.64....I admit, on the other side of the road about 5ish miles back we had passed where it was $3.99...ugh. Oh well...filled up, utilized their clean washroom which we greatly appreciated!! Grabbed something to drink & was back on I-65 again headed home!! Thank you Marathon for helping all of us road weary travelers!!!”

“We were passing through today and stopped to get some gas. While throwing away trash, my husband’s wallet got mixed in. We didn’t realize it was missing until we were at our destination an hour away. On our way back, we stopped to search for it. Jill, who I think was the manager, put on gloves and took my husband to the dumpster where she helped him go through all the trash and found the wallet. SO THANKFUL! She could not have been more kind and we are so appreciative of her help today. We all also used the restrooms, which were clean. We were greeted so kindly when we walked in; You can tell the staff takes pride in what they do and the service they provide.”
