My cat, Dimsum, became very ill very suddenly, and I had to bring her in right away. From the moment I walked through the door, every single person greeted me with kindness and genuine concern. Dimsum’s condition was initially unknown, and after multiple tests, Dr. Cable recommended that she stay over the weekend so they could rehydrate her and monitor whether she would eat.

The level of communication I received—especially directly from Dr. Cable—was truly mind-blowing. I have never felt so comfortable or confident with a veterinarian before. I knew without a doubt that Dimsum was receiving the best possible care.

Thanks to medication, patience, and lots of tuna and broth, little Dimsum began taking steps toward healing. When Dr. Cable asked me to bring her back in for a follow-up, every staff member who knew her came by to say hello and shower her with love. That meant so much to me.

“We’ve been going to Brookschool Road Vet Clinic/Fishers Vet Hospital for 4 years ever since my dog was a puppy. They’ve been awesome at providing the best care from the very beginning! From her regular, annual visits to sick visits in between, they’ve been very professional and attentive at making sure she’s safe and healthy. Staff are very welcoming and communicative. We’ve seen most of the vets there but established the most consistent care with Dr. Collins. We love her and so appreciate her patience, understanding, and hard work. She truly takes the time in assessing her patients, providing the most appropriate intervention, and giving education to owners. We are so sad we cannot continue with them due to us moving out of state but would highly recommend them to anyone in the area. Thank you guys for everything!”

I did have an issue with billing, where I was charged for the exams even though the website mentioned a free exam for new clients. However, they quickly resolved the issue once I brought it to their attention. It’s clear they truly care about pets and their clients. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a vet who goes the extra mile!”

“The team at VCA Lantern Road really go above and beyond for our dogs. Every time we have an appointment, all our needs is addressed. Even though our animals do not find the vet a fun place, the doctors and assistants are always so caring toward our dogs. They try to make the experience as easy as possible. Would highly recommend this office for your veterinary needs. I hope they can find a permanent veterinary director soon!”

“I would 100% recommend this emergency vet to anyone in need. The entire staff was wonderful when our 8 week puppy had a 3 night stay after getting run over by a golf cart. The communication was top notch and I never felt in the dark about what was happening. At each shift change,the vet called us and told us exactly was what was happening and what the next steps were. We got text updates when she was back for CT and throughout her stay. They even sent pictures. This was a very traumatic experience for our family, but the staff at VCA did a wonderful job being straight forward with the information. Our only complaint would be the extra fees we were charged far on call neurology because THEY were short staffed. For others complaining about money, it is steep, but the care was worth it. We did find that they over quoted us and at the end of the stay we were refunded a large chunk. Our miracle girl is happy and healthy now thanks to the staff at VCA. Would definitely recommend!”
