“Windows Doors & More Testimonial
My wife and I were first-time homebuyers back in 1997, purchasing a home built in 1969. That makes our house 56 years old today, and it’s seen plenty of wear and tear as we raised three children there—from preschool through elementary, junior high, and now all the way to being proud college graduates (two from Ball State and one from Purdue).

From the beginning, our original 1969 wood-trim windows were difficult to maintain. The triple-track storm windows and screens were not only tough to clean but nearly impossible to replace. About 15 years ago, we knew we had to start replacing as many windows as possible. After sitting down with 2–3 companies, we realized we could barely afford three windows, even though the front of our home needed at least six.

Just when we were about to give up, Windows Doors & More came through with an unbelievable “buy 4, get 2 free” offer. John Lyons personally walked us through the process, and there was simply no comparison to the big-name companies we had considered. Having worked in construction myself, I’m pretty handy, but for the price of six installed windows with aluminum-wrapped sills, the value was unbeatable. We added both life and value to our home.

Fast-forward 15 years, and once again John Lyons—Windows Doors & More’s #1 rep—delivered for us. Honestly, I don’t know why we even looked anywhere else. The customer service was outstanding, and the quality of the windows we already had spoke for itself. Another large company gave us a quote that was way out of budget, but Windows Doors & More was so reasonable we were able to finish the job—installing our remaining six windows, plus a patio door and back security door.

Justin and (I believe) Nathan, the demo and installation professionals, were amazing to work with, and the office team was warm, attentive, and helpful. Now, not only has the life of our home been extended, but the overall value has increased significantly.

As a working man who needed a hand up when we first purchased our home, I am so thankful for Windows Doors & More. You helped us turn our first house into a true home. And yes—every one of our windows was custom made!

The “More” truly stands for more life, more value, and more reasons to be grateful.

Thank you, Windows Doors & More.

“I’ve always had a great experience at Tractor Supply. It’s a solid store with a good selection, and I’ve never had any problems when I shop there. Everything is usually easy to find, and the overall atmosphere makes it a smooth, hassle-free visit every time. Definitely a reliable spot if you’re looking for quality and convenience.”

“Menards in Fort Wayne was a useful stop for home improvement supplies and project materials. The store had a wide selection of tools, building materials, garden items, appliances, and everyday repair supplies, so it was easy to find several things in one trip. I liked that they offer in-store pickup and delivery, which makes larger projects more convenient. The location in Chapel Ridge Shopping Center was easy to find, and the store felt practical for both small repairs and bigger home projects. Overall, it was a solid place to shop for home improvement needs.”

“Came here to pick up my online order for my new Pit Boss Smoker and was greeted by so many people. Even while walking through the store my wife and I were asked several times if we needed help at all. 100% recommend this Lowe’s for your home improvement needs!!”

“This is a great store for hardware and gardening needs. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. On one recent visit, we were looking for a specific item. When we couldn't find it, an employee helped us look it up online. We ordered it and had it shipped to the store. The next time I visited, the same employee remembered us and asked if we had gotten the item. I appreciate that she took the time to get to know us well enough to recognize on our next visit!”

“More complete store than Lowe's or home Depot. Mostly friendly staff, while definitely not as knowledgeable people as they used to have, they still have a lot of good customer service people.”

“I LOVE both donating and shopping at the FW Restore. I have an empty box in my garage and every time I am finished with something that could be sold there I put it in the box and when it’s full I drive right up under the convenient canopy and someone comes out to get my donation, regardless of the weather. I regularly shop at the store also and have found some of the most useful and unusual things there. My church does an annual fish and tenderloin fry and 100% of the proceeds goes to Habitat for Humanity. Such a good cause and an amazing organization”

“Went in last weekend to grab a few supplies for a small home project and ended up spending more time than planned. The store was pretty well organized, though a couple aisles felt a bit crowded. Staff was around and one guy helped me track down the right screws without acting rushed, which I appreciated. Prices seemed fair compared to other places nearby, not amazing but not bad either. Checkout moved quick even with a short line. I also liked that they had some project ideas displayed, gave me a few thoughts for future fixes around the house. Overall, a solid spot if you’re doing repairs or upgrades and don’t want to run all over town.”

“For big box store it's ok. I just don't see the deals like they used to have. Staff always seems friendly and helpful. Selection is varied, and they have about everything.”
