“As a driver, we stop at a truck stop almost every night, and you just never really know what you’ll get. Good parking lot, pot hole parking lot, giant slopes where you fall off your bed, 2 pumps broken. Whatever.
I think they have about ten pumps never full, always half empty, parking lot has minor slopes but manageable. What made this place 5 stars is the people. Every single employee was polite, friendly, and said hi with a smile. In the shower was a note pad of paper hand written said “enjoy your hot shower, safe travels, thank you” that means a lot to me. Such a small gesture but it made me feel appreciated and welcomed.

“Nothing to really complain about here. Some pumps weren’t spitting out the top two grades of gas, but that’s not a problem for my beater. The pump itself was fast so I wasn’t standing around for ages waiting for the car to fuel. The store has a nice collection of snacks and drinks and was staffed by nice friendly people.”

“The Iron Skillet is about as good as you're going to get in Indiana along the interstate Indiana is pretty homogeneous, lots of chain fast food etc The steak and eggs at Iron Skillet is pretty kick a** The New York strip has a bunch of fat , I prefer the cowboy cut sirloin , leaner and super tender My waitresses have always been courteous and attentive too”

“The employee workin 3rd shift the night I stopped here was very nice. It was pretty late or rather early depending on how you wish to look at it and you would have never known this man had already been working and was about to finish his shift. Some 3rd shift employees you come across when its about time for them to be getting off are not so nice nor friendly. I wish I knew your name kind sir because I appreciate your uplifting spirit and how you made my night/day better.”
