“I've been going to speedway, exclusively, for years now.
But there's this... thing they started doing that I CANT STAND. Every time you walk in... before you've had coffee. Someone always yells out "welcome to speedway!"
It's super annoying, disingenuous, and feels forced/required.
It's super unnecessary, loud, and doesn't feel like a "welcoming" announcement but rather a forced interaction on a company policy note.
For THE LOVE OF GOD- PLEASE STOP SCREAMING WELCOME TO SPEEDWAY.
It just makes my blood boil with rage. Greetings should be spontaneous and genuine, not a thing people yell when they hear to door bell beep.

“They have K-1 Kerosene. $5.99 per gallon as of 12/17/2024. It has a short hose. You need to prepay the cashier first. Way cheaper than the containers you can buy at wal mart, or other stores or online. It's not part of the normal pump station. Look for it as a stand alone pump on the Eastside neer the Speedway sign”

“Hailey was such a good associate, but overall a really good person. I have NEVER been so embarrassed in my life. My card declined and she rang up my transactions so many times as I tried different cards, verified accounts and banks over the phone with customer service, eventually had to borrow money to make the purchase because (although I had money and even showed her tons of proof when she ensured me she did not need to see my apps, or the verification texts that I was receiving after my card was blocked, etc.) for some reason even after an identity check, no pending transactions and an available balance, my card KEPT saying invalid!!! Hailey remained 100% patient like she was not bothered at all. Eventually I was able to pay and be on my way. But, I would come back there every time I go to Kokomo, because she represents the store and the area well. Give her a raise, she treats people like human beings!!!”

“This is a good stop. Lots of pumps, a grassy area to walk your pet, a couple of picnic tables in the sun, lots of beverages and a great variety of medicines and other miscellaneous things. The women’s restroom has two stalls, including one handicap stall with a changing table. There was soap and a hand dryer. A subway restaurant shares the building. There is an electric vehicle charging station. Easy on and off from Highway 31.”

“This gas station/convenience store starts my day, every day. They have everything I need in this one little store. Fresh brewed coffees, breakfast foods including biscuits and gravy, doughnuts, etc. The Indy, Kokomo and USA Today newspapers. They have hot foods throughout the day. Very nice staff and the store is clean. The least expensive gas prices too.”
“They generally have the cheapest gas prices (but no diesel pump) in town. The small shop carries lots of goodies, like donuts in the morning, many different coffee's all thru the day, soda variations, and snacks. They always have friendly staff to help you, as well.”

“We love Casey’s pizza! The guy working tonight truly gave us a great experience. He was very friendly and had our pizza and cheese bread piping hot ready to go. It was beautifully coated with a layer of cheese and pepperoni. Didn’t look thrown together like other pizza places. You can tell he really cares about the customers. Please give this man a raise! We were there on the night of 01/07/2023.”
“I like to get cheap snacks and drinks here. And cheap gas... No one knows what it's like to be the sad girl behind the bulletproof glass, but you can still talk to her through the speakerphone device and brighten her day. Then watch as your day gets better all of a sudden!”
“Very clean inside & out. Amazing employees! I use a cane and was struggling to carry drinks, and Sarah immediately offered to help. She carried drinks for me to the car and pumped my gas.Sarah is a beam of hope for customer service, which I thought was surely dead! This made my end if day much easier.”

“They have really good fountain drinks & flavorings. That's what we stopped in for. You make your own, but they supply all you need. Cashiers are friendly & fast. They have a study flow of traffic going thru their pumps as well as their store, but they seem to handle it efficiently.
