“Even though while I was there, I picked up a few more things, Crackers was the main reason I went to GFS. My sister bought some for me and my husband's vow renewal reception, and I loved them. So I picked some up for our family Christmas gathering to go with her cheese ball she made. The Wellington assorted the one I got for the cheese ball. Then I decided to have spinach dip and even though I got Hawaiian bread too, I also got the Bruschettee and it was amazing to go with the spinach dip and cheese ball. Oh and got the cheese ball there also. Not bad for 4 dollars and change.”

“Best prices anywhere. Not an over abundance of products but definitely can get all your groceries and plenty of other really great things for the home, patio, kids etc... it changes every week and the quality is excellent! There are FB groups dedicated to Aldi's "Aisle of Shame"... it's called that because you go in for milk and bread and come out with a Barbecue grill, new area rugs and gorgeous Whiskey decanter!! If you know you know!!”

“If you're a cyclist looking for a decent SAG stop, I would recommend stopping here. It's a couple hundred yards off the Nickle Plate Trail and VERY easy to get to. Very friendly staff and a good selection of drinks/sandwiches for the hungry cyclist.”

“This is absolutely my favorite dollar General! I love the staff... I am always laughing or taken care well ! They probably get a little flustered at me cause I put things I vhange my mind about back but on different shelves (I'm sorry) and couple times they want to close but I'm shopping like I have all the time in the world ! “I used to consider this location the 'ghetto' Dollar General but over the past several months my mind has changed. Do I prefer this location over the one on Markland or on the one on the corner of North & Washington? Honestly not, BUT.... The store is a lot more organized now days. And they always have what I need in stock, especially hair products for African American hair. A lot of other locations in Kokomo seem to never even get certain stuff in but I can always come here & find things that are sold out at other locations. Let's hope this review doesn't jinx that”

“In past several weeks have gained new employees great at customer service and working. The isles were a huge disaster in recent weeks with water area over run and impassible. Totally a liability safety and fire hazard. I went back a couple days later and it looked the best it has in a year. Assistant MGR has common sense on running stock only a few carts at a time. I was pleasantly surprised. I like the new helpful, courteous, employees.”

“This is the only place to get fuel in my opinion period. 3 cents off all the time with Kroger card. All the fuel points you get with grocery shopping is incredible. We are a family of 4 and groceries can be well over $600 a month. That's an incredible savings on gas. I've had as much as $1.50 off per gallon up to 35 gallons! We fill up both vehicles at the same time and save a huge amount at the pump this way. Shop smart and save big!”

“I love the Maplecrest Kroger, though I wish they had fresh sushi (or evergreen frozen) like the one on Dixon. Kroger always has very nice produce with interesting, exotic fruits and vegetables to choose from, depending on season. The foods from both the deli and bakery are very fresh, as are the meat and seafood departments. There is a wide variety of foods to choose from from many cultures and special dietary needs. I will personally only shop for groceries and pet supplies at Krogers.I do feel they need more registers open, especially on Sundays and around holidays.The pharmacy is short-staffed, but they manage to have my scripts ready on time. They have never ran out of pain medications, either, which seems to be a big problem with other pharmacies around town.”

“I'm giving 5 stars because someone cared. I went there today and there was a sign that said they had closed early due to staffing issues.I have a sinus infection and had antibiotics that needed picked up. People were basically cat calling the pharmacists through locked gates who were working to try to get their attention so they could pick up scripts. And even though the pharmacists would say "I'm sorry we are closed" they would still help the patients.I watched this pharmacy tech deal with no less than 4 angry customers and she handled it with such grace.She was able to get my scripts done for me even though they weren't ready, and was simply wonderful.She was tired, she was worn out, clearly overworked but she cared. And that is a kindness I won't soon forget.”

“This is a standard Walmart; a large selection of items at reasonable prices. The facility is relatively well-maintained; and, as with most of the franchise, the staff range from helpful to indifferent. We shop here to save money. It would be great if there was also exceptional customer service included; but as with our wishing to be younger and thinner, we're not holding our breath. (To be fair, the greeters are usually friendly and welcoming....an advantage of hiring ole fartz like us.)”
