“Normally I stay in Hilton properties to gain points, but the ratings for the one in Goshen were not better than this much less expensive Best Western. So I decided to try it.

I had a great experience here. Checkin was fast and efficient. The lobby was in good condition and pleasantly lit. The room was comfortable, smelled good, clean, and in good condition. The bed was very firm and I was worried about that at first, but I slept fine in it. Six square pillows were arrayed on it and I was able to combine two of them for just the right pillow density for me. The sheets were quite soft -- like sheets all used to be regardless of thread count. In the morning, there was plenty of hot water in the shower. Pressure was adequate. I could rinse out my hair -- I've stayed in $300+/night hotel rooms where the pressure wasn't adequate for that. The room was well stocked with towels. There was a hair dryer, iron, and full-sized ironing board.

Continental breakfast was offered, but I'm an eggs-and-toast guy so I skipped it.

This is the kind of experience I used to get at budget-friendly hotels 30 and 40 years ago, but has fallen way, way off to the point where I almost never consider such places anymore. I'm glad I did this time. This Best Western is a standout.”

“I had a great experience here! The staff was very helpful and accommodating. My room was clean and spacious. Breakfast is great! The location is great it is near several restaurants gas stations and stores. I even saw quite a few horse and buggies!”

“The people here were very helpful and the only things I did not care for is. There was no water pressure in the shower. Whatsoever and they need to do something about their breakfast waffles. And cereal just doesn't cut. So they really need to work on that.”

“I will have to go with five star for the way the staff for being professional and accommodating they had great prices the price of hotels doubles when they are a Notre Dame game but this hotel keeps the price of the rooms the same great service all around!!!!”

“Everything went well with our stay. I have a few gripes. The room didn't have an outlet next to the bed for charging devices. I had to remove panels of the built-in furniture to access an outlet. TV in the room didn't have an easily accessible HDMI port nor a remote to switch the input. I had to unplug the streaming box to use that HDMI port. The bathtub was EXTREMELY slick. My brother fell in the tub! It was like standing on a skateboard in the tub. Come to find out, the shampoo they have in the tub was the cause of the slickness. I recommend changing the shampoo or putting grip stickers in the tub. Luckily, my brother wasn't injured and we're not suing. I wonder how long until someone is severely injured and they do get a lawsuit...”
