“As a homeowner in need of the odd fastener or piece of lumber, Leo Builders Supply is exactly what I need in town. They always seem to have just what I need, no matter how obscure the request. If they don't, they're usually able to order it. Prices are a little higher than what you usually see at box stores, but that's just the cost of local convenience.”
“I would like to say that you have an employee named Steve. I have shopped at your store for the past several years, and each time I have needed help, I have looked for his help. He has helped me each time, even though he might be busy! I am a Vietnam veteran, and he is no spring chicken either, however, you might go to other businesses with the younger generation, and they are too busy with their cell phones or don't want to help an older person for one reason or another. I am here to tell you this young man Steve has brought customer service back to life, Thank you, Steve! I am a retired State Commissioner for the State of Indiana, and I have seen a lot of individuals who work in Customer Service, but Mr. Steve is the exception, somehow you need to acknowledge him, in my opinion. “We needed some screws. Random screws. Mennards has a massive selection of nuts, bolts, nails, and screws. We were somewhat overwhelmed by the prospect of finding the screws we needed. Then, along comes Nicole. She asked if we needed help. We did. She took our screws, sized them, and took us right to where they were. She was so helpful and pleasant. The rest of the employees in the store (EVERY SINGLE ONE), out on the floor, either asked if they could help us, or gave us a friendly greeting. It was a very good experience. Highly recommend this store! 5 BIG STARS.”
“Paint picking was fun and easy. Deck screws with square head is a commodity, but Menards have it. Lumber selection was a pleasant experience. They have thin deck boards, Menards only thick ones.”
