Did a reset here. People are nice and welcoming, had some fries in the diner, and "shot the shit, with the boys" at the regulars' table.

“One of my absolute favorite gas stations to stop at when coming through town the bathrooms are super super clean they’re usually always open they have the largest selection of drinks available and although I do love KFC the chicken here is as good if not better than KFC. The largest selection of incense I’ve ever seen and there’s an ATM for bitcoin lol”

“Excellent service. Driving through from SC in the snow and no restaurants were open. We tried to stop at the subway next door but they were closed. Luckily the Shell makes pizzas and sandwiches! They were delicious and very filling, and the man who served us helped make this evening a lot better.”

“I've read some of the reviews and personally, I've had a good experience in the 4 years I've lived near this gas station. Everyone's been polite but I don't expect hand holding and door greeting. Most of the complaints are just plain petty. This is a gas station, folks, not a 5 star resort. You want someone to coddle you, call your mom. Technology isn't fool-proof- card readers break. Stores run out of things- deliveries aren't always on time. The people who work here have enough to do without being expected to clean up after you in the bathroom or otherwise, so act like an adult and don't contribute to creating the nastiness you're so quick to gripe about.”
“Never thought I'd be reviewing a truck stop, but this is my second time here and the food is just so darned good! (breakfast) We were travelling back to Indy from a weekend in Covington, had a very expensive dinner at a very disappointing top of the City restaurant. Truly enjoyed Kennetts breakfast down home home made cooking as my break the bank dinner left me hungry. The servers here are so friendly and laid back, yet efficient, never an empty coffee cup. Food takes a bit longer than normal but It's WELL worth the wait!”
