“When I walked in the Dollar General, I was greeted with a sincere hello, and welome to Dollar General, not the robotic hello. I had to come on here to do a review. I overheard the phone ring, and a customer was asking if they had an item. She HAPPILY placed the customer on hold, and went to check to see if they had the item. Came back and informed the customer. I was looking for a particular item. She showed me where it should have been, but they were all out of stock. She was genuine and sincere while I was checking out. This is definitely rare these days. I told her to stay the way she is, and that it was appreciated.”
“Associate #2432222 was doing an awesome job on 11/9/24! She was welcoming everyone coming into the store even though she was super busy trying to keep the long line moving as fast as she could and being very polite to everyone!”
“The employees are usually nice & usually have everything in stock. Kali Beauty store is in the same building as Dollar General, so Maps keeps asking me how my shopping experience was at Kali Beauty & I didn't go there ?”
“I love this store!!! From the friendly greetings and help of the associates to the managers!!! The store manager definitely did a great job at fixing up the location and keeping shelves stocked. Always friendly demeanor, ready to help, and very CLEAN!!! A female manager helped me find very good makeup products. A male manager with long hair helped me find some good deals on tools and car accessories. All in all just great experiences every time I go in! I love it! These alone are amazing, even with the pricing going up. 🙌”
“Thank You "Renee" . I went in to return some items but she was able to help me find exactly what I was looking for!. Kind, Friendly and Patient! ðŸ˜"Good Job" 👔
“This is a great addition to the neighborhood. The staff is head and shoulders above other stores in Hammond. They are always helpful and so very cheerful. It's a great way to start your day if you're an early shopper. The more I go there, the more I like it. They have a great selection in all departments. I just wish they had more in the pet treat area.”
“This one is the best in NW, Indiana 😊 Polite employees ❤ They give you the impression that they were happy to come to work that day. They know where the items are located and what side of the aisle you can find them in. The store is neat and clean and always smells nice 😃 Although I live in East Chicago? I prefer to shop at this location. I might get caught by a Train 🤣 But it's worth the wait 😊”
“While I have never been inside and only ever done grocery pick up I will say it is a good Walmart. Orders consistently correct and employees are kind and quick. Parking lot could be cleaner”
“Destinee was a great help. Had a superb attitude was very patient with us. Willing to go out of her way to get us what we were looking for. I couldn't thank her enough.”
