“Any time I need a used auto part, this is the place I always turn to.I've gotten several used parts here .I highly highly recommend economy auto parts.I'm always greeted with a very friendly hello ,how are you doing today. I tell them the part I need they look into the computer screen and can tell you immediately how many they have and the price.Some parts are already off and readily availableAnd some parts need to be taken off as you wait .There is another auto recycler just over the Michigan line past Kindredhook. I've been there also several times buying parts .Economy auto parts blows them away in every category, especially friendliness & reliability............Economy auto recycling gets an A +++AND 2 THUMBS UP....I now need to buy an extra couple of rear springs for my truck. “The requested service was replacing rusted out rear leaf spring shackles and hangar brackets in a mid 2000s Ford truck. Over the phone, they provided two quotes, one with me providing the replacement parts and one with them providing the replacement parts. We set up an appointment, IIRC about 3 weeks from the date of the call, with me providing the parts. They completed the repairs the same day of the appointment. Upon picking up the truck, the price was what they quoted. The cost of the service was quite reasonable, compared to 2 other quotes from repair shops. They were recommended by George's Repair Shop who said they they could do the job but thought FWSS would be a better fit for this repair, especially regarding costs (which George's quote I found reasonable). So a thank you to George's for the referral and thank you to FWSS for doing what they said they'd do, just good business.It was nice to deal with Fort Wayne Spring Service. They were very friendly, and did everything they said they'd do, no hassles, no surprises, etc. I will definitely do business with them again if the opportunity arises.”

“I travel for work and on my way to work, my brakes started grinding and screeching even while not pressing on the brake pedal!! My gauge also went off that a tire was going flat. I called my boss to tell her what was happening and she recommended norms bc she had been a customer for years, and they were across the street. I called norms and by this time it's almost 10am and they were so pleasant and understanding!! I was so relieved considering I was almost 2 hours from home. They got my car, dropped me off at work, fixed my brakes, fixed my tire (ran over a nail) rotated my tires and changed my oil for cheaper than a well known chain shop for just changing brakes alone!!
This shop I hear is family owned and operated. I hope they never lose their connection with the public not just customer service but going above and beyond and keeping their prices low and affordable, which is unheard of nowadays!
Especially thank you to Brad. He is the face you see and voice you hear and when you need a ride, he accommodates with such a friendly and kind attitude. Thank you Norms!! I really appreciate and applaud you for not only holding onto, but especially practicing old fashioned values and principles with manners!!

“Came in for a diagnosis and repair on a starting issue. Previous tower/mechanic gave wrong diagnosis (faulty ECM/computer).
Autocare Sol. diagnosed properly, thoroughly and patiently explained risks, possibilities, and costs every step of the way.
My situation ended up being a broken/severed screw connecting the crankshaft (or something like this).
Mechanic thoroughly and kindly explained/taught this to me (I'm not a car person at all). He let me know that I had a 50/50 chance of my whole engine being ruined due to the complexity of the problem.
I was quoted a $700-plus fee, but later upon thorough analysis of specifying the problem (I assume he saw it simpler than initially expected), quoted me around $480 for total costs.
That final phone call of great news was a tremendous relief and really made my week. I was very grateful.
I love when people, particularly in business, are patient, specific, kind, honest, and of course professional. They were all of the above.

“I met Ralph today, owner of Barkleys at 215 IN 930 east in new Haven, IN. I have a car that when you drive it it sounds like a vacuum cleaner is running beside your ear. I was thinking maybe weatherstripping etc. Ralph diagnose it in 3 minutes. Made an appt. 4 days out. Took it in. Got a call early afternoon. Car was done. Vacuum cleaner noise was gone. Bill was way under $200.00. Great place to go. They have your back. Now if I could just have Ralph fix my hearing out of my left ear, since I listened to that noise for so long. “Rob has taken care of my after several frauds took advantage of me. I called him crying and he dropped everything and came and got my car and is fixing all the stuff people scammed me on because I don't know anyone here yet. But I found someone trustworthy finally and then my other car broke down and he came and got it and got it back on the road immediately. Taking all my cars to him from now on and you should too. He knows a lot and notices all of the things other people just don't. Also he's usually got a good deal on a cheap car for sale for those struggling just to have a car. He gives to mom's and kids and does the opposite of taking advantage. If you're a woman or disabled then this is where you know you're not gonna get scammed like you would other places. And he tows so if you need that.”
