“I lived at the Marott for three years and overall it was a quality downtown apartment. I was on the 10th floor with a 1BD 1BA. The on-site facilities like the gym, pool, gated parking (the fob sometimes didn't work on the back gate) and 24 hour concierge were a great resource to have. It's location makes it very easy to get anywhere downtown within 15 minutes and it is walking distance from places of interest within the Fall Creek area.The reason I moved was due to constant noise from being downtown from sirens and loud cars coming on Fall Creek throughout the night as well as no washer and dryer in your unit. You get great views on the upper floors but it is a trade-off too cold Winters with the aluminum windows that have bad seals. It is a small apartment for the price you pay, but it's a trade- off the for location.Its a good option for a downtown apartment for students or young professionals.”

“This complex is incredible for the price. As a graduate student, I never thought I would be able to afford an updated two bedroom, but here we are. I love that there is a Starbucks across the street, they’re putting in a new brewery, and there are other little shops/pizza/breakfast across the way too. While the immediate area is nice, it is very close to more rundown parts of Indy and the crime rate is relatively high. I’ve never had any issues here and the neighbors all seem to be extremely friendly, but it is something to note when choosing a place. Also, no issues with bugs in my building. You can’t control the heater so it’s a little warm in the winter (seems like they keep it at 70-75) but just crack a window. And there’s no AC so you’ll have to purchase your own unit. The laundry is hit or miss- expensive and doesn’t always work. The maintenance guy, Brian, is an absolute gem. He is so helpful, quick, and very kind and personable. I moved from out of state and he and another young man even helped me carry my mattress up to my place when I moved in. He’s simply the best. Jamie, the manager who moved me in back in August, was also sooo kind. I have not had much contact with the new manager, but she has been mostly helpful as well. When I lost my apartment key, she printed one for me immediately even though it isn’t her job. Most apartment managers and maintenance are awful, and I’m so glad to have the people here. It’s the little things that make a place feel like home!”

“I’ve been a tenant at The Maryden since June of 2022, and have loved it! There were some initial maintenance kinks with my unit that came up early on (while the building’s maintenance and overall property teams were being switched!). These took a little bit more time to fix as a result, but Kenny has always taken great care of things for me!! Blocked drains, repainting the pantry after my A/C condensate pan leaked from a newly loose seal, etc. - he’s been fantastic. I’ve not run into the other guys as much, but they’ve all recently replaced the sidewalk at the back of the building, as well as water softeners/heaters, which has been awesome. There are also now Parcel Pending lockers outside of the building, which makes package deliveries a breeze! Overall, I’m very happy with my experiences here so far, and look forward to being a tenant here for awhile longer!”

“I have lived at CityWay for more than three years in two different apartments. I am posting today related to the maintenance service I have received from both Ashton & Paul. They do their very best to be responsive with what maintenance projects need to be addressed in my apartment and go the extra mile.Full disclosure, this has not always been the case regarding the maintenance team but the current group is on it and it is much appreciated!I also appreciate Matt in the leasing office. He is always friendly, responsive and helpful.In the past, I have had a lot of challenges with residents not keeping their dogs on a leash. I stopped mentioning it to the residents because a few would respond very rudely when I politely & calmly called them out. I tried reaching out to the leasing office and it seemed like they were more concerned with making sure pet waste was picked up versus ensuring the safety of its residents and their pets. Please know this issue is almost two years old now but if you are considering moving to CityWay and have a pet, I would ask the question about their leash policy enforcement.Finally, my biggest issue is with our package delivery process. Particularly the Amazon Prime drivers. I know they have challenges with their role for sure but I have had packages left right on the stairs off of Virginia Avenue, so anyone walking by on the street can just grab it and go. I know Matt has reached out to our Amazon contact, to no avail.”

“I have lived here for 7.5 yrs and it's not bad. The new maintenance staff is getting better with response times. My rent only increased twice before I transferred to a bigger apt in November. I only had an issue with a manager once a few yrs ago but he wasn't there long. My only complaint right now is 1 of my neighbors are very loud and they have no regard for anyone else when playing music. It has been brought to their attention. 1 of my downstairs neighbors just let their dogs roam inside the hall unsupervised until they start whining. I'll be probably be here until I buy a house. I've never had a roach problem & only had ants once in my old unit maybe year 3 & they had an exterminator out fast.UPDATE April 2023: I've now been in this complex almost 11.5 yrs. I'm not really feeling these increases the last couple years but they're more affordable than pretty much anywhere else.”

It's a great location right in the middle of downtown where everything is happening. The only drawback for me personally is I don't have a balcony. Only a very few apartments have a balcony, but I guess they can't do anything about that. Lol ?”
