“This museum has lots of information about the old shipping business and Jeff beautiful antiques a lot of fun we went to the open house at Christmas time and it was magnificent really fun thing to go and look out at all the stuff they have”
“The Jefferson was a beautiful spot for a wedding. The ceremony was held outside on the deck, with the city skyline in the background. A huge floral chandelier hung above the couple, and with the sunset behind them, it looked straight out of a magazine.
Inside, everything felt well in hand, and the bartenders kept the drinks flowing without long waits. Parking was ample, so getting in and out was easy.
My fiancé and I were so impressed that we’re now looking into the venue for our own wedding. It felt like the kind of place we could celebrate as well.”

“Fantastic, this TownePlace is a hidden gem. Immediately the staff is so welcoming and accommodating. I had a very late check in and was upgraded due to my status and the room was absolutely great. Comfy beds, nice kitchen space, CLEAN! It’s not a new Marriott by any means but it sure feels like it’s been taken care of. The General manager knows what she’s doing with the place. The town is quiet and has an absolutely beautiful view, pubs and restaurants down the street, and the Bridge walk at night is lovely. Great find and I’ll be sure to make this my new location when passing by. Book with confidence!Rooms: Great rooms, had a king suit which was fantastic, and a regular king room which had my needs.Nearby activities: Exploring the history of JeffersonvilleWalkability: Park and bridge walk right in front of location.Food & drinks: Lots of restaurant choices for a small town.”

“A bit dated in the rooms but it wasn't terrible. Service they seemed a bit "blah" no big deal. It was a great location to get to Game on the River restaurantRooms: DatedNearby activities: River walk, hooters, game on the river, Louisville downtown with Fourth Street live. Among other stuff in the city to do. You just have to cross the bridge.”

“This is such a lovely place to have a wedding. My, now, wife and I will never forget the experiences that we had leading up to, and the day of. Lakeside made it a lot less stressful with their day of coordinater helping plan the special day and made everything memorable. Everyone at Lakeside were super helpful and answered any questions we had. The DJ, Dean, was incredible. Every song planned played at the perfect time to make the moment that much more. Everyone their from the servers to the Bartenders, to the coordinators went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of so we only had to worry about having a wonderful wedding.”
