“Only giving four stars due to the encounter that I had a few moments ago. When paying, my card had initially declined and the cashier made a remark about it, I am guessing implying that I am broke as I pulled out a different card to pay instead. I ended up having to explain to him that this specific card just takes forever for it to clear even when paid. He was very friendly outside of that, and he was doing his job wonderfully. Just might not have realized what he was implying with the verbiage he used. Outside of that, he was cleaning, restocking, ensuring the stores safety, and did a great job at maintaining the stores condition. Will still be back as this is the better Speedway in the area, just a little unprofessional tonight. Haven’t ever had any issues with this location. Four stars but maybe I can improve that later on in the future.”
“I had my two young grandkids with me and the cashier acknowledged them as the new owner of a squeeze bottle of juice each and a snack . I think cashiers that really engage with their customers don't get enough credit, the bring the customers back time and again.”

“Favorite gas station this area. Wide selection of snacks, drinks, or candy I can't find elsewhere half the time or new products ive been looking for. Decent variety of alcohol as well. Hot pizzas pockets or pan pizzas. Barqs Red Cream soda on tap and some of the best staff hands down around.”

“Ordered a pizza using my free coupon that I got in the mail from family express. The location close to me was springville. I ordered a extra large supreme pizza. As I arrived at the store the pizza was just coming out of the oven. I thought yeah great timing. The employee chef at the counter greeted me with a smile and was very pleasant. I used my coupon and pizza was no charge. The 8 minute drive home.I was going crazy. It was smelling so good. When I open the pizza box it looked spectacular. Okay it was pretty darn good. More toppings than what domino would give you so that was a plus. I ordered a thin and crispy crust.The edges were very crispy just how I like.The inner part of crust was a little soft but that must be the nature of their pizzas with all the extra toppings on them. To me the pizza was very similar to the taste of a domino's pizza. If the crust was crispy throughout the pizza I would have given it a five star just because of price and quantity and taste. I would recommend everyone That
Likes a budget minded pizza to give it a try. The same pizza at josassamel or marilio's.Would have been at least forty dollars. I will someday probably host a family express pizza party and invite all of my friends. I will order two pizzas.”

“I stopped by this family express to get a bag of ice yesterday. A nice lady named Dawn who was working said right away they were out of bags of ice. She apologized profusely and said please take some ice out of the soda area where I could get some ice. She was very nice and accommodating and her customer service skills was top notch! Please give Dawn a raise she deserves it!!”

“It just OK. Prescription prices are good for the most part, but OTC items seem expensive. They do offer coupons that help sometimes. Prescription system needs some work as apparently they can't leave notes associated with customers regarding insurance approval and you have to repeat the process everytime.”

“I wanted to come here once when I took a wrong turn on the highway but this place is located off the 94 exit. It's a newer Speedway. You can only access this place from one road so you can drive past it looking for the entrance but it's your typical Speedway location that has all the food, drinks, restrooms and others amenities these locations usually have.”

“This is a busy store but it's really easy to pull into the parking lot or the pumps and just as easy to get back onto IN State Highway # 2. It's located in between 2 different left u-turn lanes depending on which enter/exit way that's used, Speedway has 3 of them at this location.
It's a mid-sized store with a big sized selection of products choose from which includes many 7-Eleven favorites and even some of the promo items like collectables and limited time only snacks and food items. The roller grill is always rollin with options 24hrs a day which is really great in the middle of the night when nothing else is open and youre hungry for more than a snack. Combined with the perks points system (not as great as it used to be) this is definitely one of the best Gas Stations in Laporte despite its outdated design. Just like its smaller sibling, this Speedway is in need of a larger building and inside the store bathrooms.
The only complaint I have is the same for both stores, the bathrooms are outside and locked and require a key to unlock that has to be acquired from the counter by asking the employee working the register. I have been denied twice from using the restroom there. The reason I was given: the bathrooms are closed because of drug addicts going in there and Od'ing on drugs. They lock themselves inside and the last person was found dead with a needle in their arm.
I didn't argue with the employee that told me that. I wasnt really sure what to say but I get why they closed their restrooms.
I do not know if theyre still closed. I was informed they would be opened again at some point once changes were made. I didnt ask what that entailed. So minus 1 star for the lack of a public restroom.”
