“I've been buying my brewing supplies from them since Anita had the one store on E 86th. Always have what Im looking for. This time I just needed yeast for hard cider, cuz tis the season ?”
“This store offers some of the most thoughtfully designed and detailed toys you can find. Everything feels intentional rather than mass-produced or disposable. These toys are clearly chosen with a purpose in mind not just filler items. Most of the toys have floor examples as well so you can see how they work! They also have so many fun crafts and projects for all ages. It’s really the best!”
“I absolutely love this shop.i felt so welcomed and a new knitter. Ms. Susan was so helpful and patient. She helped me figure out what yarn and needles I needed to get started with a basic scarf. You can come in, sit, and work on projects while the store is open and ask questions on any project you're working on. I will definitely be back. Love, love, love it!!”
“Super cool owner. He handed us a couple packs for free and gave us some cool Pikachu hats! We sat and sorted through pokemon bulk for hours. The workers are super friendly and the environment is really relaxing.”
“This is one of my Indy happy places. It's an absolute treasure trove. I just found the antique loveseat of my dreams and for less than I could have paid for a new one. Also fun just to browse.
In the past it was very hot in the summer (there's no AC), but they have addressed this with a ton of industrial-sized fans. I mean, it's still on the warm side, but don't let the heat thwart your exploration!”

“Unlike proboat, bonzi makes a great rc boat that doesn’t break down on the first run that lasts for decades to come that isn’t discontinued after being made for a year or so. definitely worth the price.”
“Amazing specimens, extreme variety of fossils from all over the world, amaIng flourite and the lady gave us a great cuatomer service. Minerals come from different localities.”
“So close to christmas and the store was flowing nicely and when the lines got heavy, they were quickly reduced with more cashiers being called up. The store was a mess rightfully so because of the rush but the staff was very polite and doing their best to get through it all.”
“Got through talking to the guy who answered the phone. Nice person said they can repair my brothers old a American Flyer train! Taking it in tomorrow! Very excited yo see if we can get this running again.”
“Stopped in for the first time the other day and was really impressed. The owner was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what he carries.
There is a great selection of plastic micro kits, including cars, planes, trains, boats, and more. It is a fantastic spot for model builders looking for detailed kits. Just note this is not a dollhouse miniature store, it focuses on traditional hobby models.
A wonderful local hobby shop and definitely worth visiting.”
“The best board game store in Indy. Always updating their sale table with good deals. A large selection that isn't too spread out. Has free table space to game. And good for all types of gamers. Years of experience, just starting, large parties, 1 vs 1, heavy on theme, focusing only on strategies, etc. They have it all.”
“My friend and l came in to buy a TON of fabric and Holly was so incredibly helpful!! She was very kind and patient with us as we went through the process of cutting it. Love her positive attitude and would definitely go back!”
“Coming here every Wednesday to get my new books is always the highlight of my week. Both this and the downtown location (only two I've ever visited) are great, and the staff are always polite and fun to talk to. Downtown Comics is easily the best comic book store in Indy.”

“They got mostly everything vintage! A huge collection of Funko pops to old vintage TV shows merchandise like Power Ranges, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Wars, and much more! They are having a big sale, so please come and check it out!”
“I recently bid on a couple of items in Greenwood Mall via silent auction. The auction closed on Monday and I called to confirm the invoice I received as the winning bidder. I paid my invoice and the two items arrived on Thursday at my door! They were flawless and well packed for shipping. Prompt service and they were friendly and attentive when I called. Local businesses are awesome! Thanks! ?”
“The Cherry Tree Team (primarily dealt with Angel) is amazing!! We needed 170 balloons filled for our event and Angel went above and beyond in helping us! She went as far as renting a small U-Haul truck to deliver all the balloons to our venue. Then, she and Anna, took the time to help us arrange them “waterfall” style in the various points at the venue. Huge thanks to the A-Team…Angel & Anna and all the hands that inflated balloons, help load them on the truck!!”
“We had the pleasure of being involved in a weekend long game convention hosted at Gamer's Loot this past weekend and had an absolute blast! Yes, the store allowed our gaming community to invade and play games at their tables while we raised money for a local charity. The store itself has a lot of gaming space, and product only covering about half the store (I think, if I'm off on the actual square footage, my apologies). So there is space to gather with friends, and play games, and this is the intention of the owner, Matt. Oh, and he let (and helped) us rearrange the tables several times to fit our needs. I've had many good conversations with him about the store, gaming in general, and specific products. When I was looking for something and he didn't have it in stock, he usually let me know within a minute or two how fast he can get in, or if I'd be better off getting it online. Yeah, he really tries making players happy instead of just raking in every last penny he can. I've always enjoyed gaming and shopping here and look forward to being back again often. I'd like to see more variety in the snacks selection, but that's not nearly as important to me as having space to play, and the Pathfinder products I'm looking for. Game on!”

“The guys at the store this Sunday were so lively, funny and sweet! They were super kind and helpful. Sorry if i get their names wrong but I believe it was Chris, Tim, and Sean. They are all amazing and they deserve crazy raises! (And no, they did not put me up to this lol I did it of my own volition!)”
“I hear a lot of people mention bad experiences here, but I've never had a bad experience...! The employees will check everything you ask about, talk to you, and help you find what you need. I gladly utilize this store for shopping - and they frequently have MTG cards that other stores don't have in stock! Thanks for reading my review. Have a great day!”
