And before you think 'small shop, old random junk' - this place isn't that way at all. Plenty of options from a cheap used cable if that's what you need to a whole new system in the box.

Rick is super helpful, I called to see if they had a specific type of monitor I was looking for as I wanted a 2K display. They had what I was looking for at a price that was competitive with Microcenter and better than Amazon for what I wanted for a brand new monitor.

But alas, sometimes things happen.. I brought the monitor home and it wouldn't start up properly. After some online searching, I started thinking it was a hardware issue due to the on-screen display not working at all and some notes I found on a rare issue with some MSI monitors just color cycling out of the box (they are typically a good brand) but it's electronics so stuff happens. The monitor was brand new, sealed - so it's a factory issue for sure.

I gave them a call, explained the issue and no beating around the bush or other attempts to dodge the problem or say it was something I was doing wrong!

Rick said it was no problem to bring it back in and exchange. He checked the non-functional one and confirmed it was likely a problem from the factory. Tested a new one for me, just in case and I left with a confirmed good working monitor. Certainly made it easy.

If you live in the area, give them a try before you order elsewhere! I've been doing IT work for over 25 years now and highly recommend Aurora Computer Center.
