“I will not go to any other gas station besides Marathon or the Meijer gas stations look for the sticker that has clean gasoline detergent only All the other stations have too many additives and not enough of the cleaner for your engine I found this out from my car mechanic I am getting at least four more miles to the gallon and my vehicle runs a lot smoother I was going to shell and it was not getting no more than 15 mi in the city I am now getting 19.1 and also Marathon has an app where you can get $0.10 off a gallon that helps out a lot”

“I prefer BP gas when I can find it. This location outside of Indy was on par with my higher expectations of the chain.

No debris in sight. No issues with my card processing or fueling up. My negative was dirty wash water I did not utilize the convenience store, however it looked attractive.

A 3+ and round up best suits my experience.”

“Stopped at this Speedway location (6050 Cambridge Way, Plainfield Indiana) this morning for a fountain coke & gas. The location is going thru some renovations but it was really clean & organized inside, the ladies bathroom was spotless and didn't smell bad (huge plus!!) with a lot of drink and snack options!!! SUPER friendly staff, and y'all know how much I love friendly, smiling people! Jeremiah was the clerk who checked us out, and he was GREAT! He was knowledgeable about what the store had to offer on the grill, and was even able to answer my questions regarding the Speedway / 7-11 merger (which tells me he takes an interest in what's going on with his employer... Always good for employees to be in the know). What impressed me so much about Jeremiah was the fact he looked young, but didn't have the work ethic that you see so much nowadays with the younger generation (sorry Millennials). He wasn't lazy, he was well spoken and actually offered help, including trying to help me save money by inputting my 7/11 member number to see if it worked on their system. I'm not an old woman by anyf means, but I love seeing young adults who remind me so much of my own sons, who I hope I've instilled the same great qualities that Jeremiah has when it comes to having pride in their work. These days everyone's so quick to post negative reviews and don't take the time to give credit where it's most important, to people who deserve to be noticed. I'll be traveling thru Plainfield often for the rest of the year and so will several of my family members. We plan to make this Speedway location the one we stop at for gas & snacks every time. And their gas prices were better than other locations, too, which was great! If I could give more stars, I would. And I truly hope Jeremiah knows that he made someone's day a lot better by being so pleasant and kind today.”

“Is it old, small, and kinda dingy, yah. But they have vitamin water slurpees and a convenient corner location that makes it easy to get in and out from both sides.”

“As far as the company , I am a long time regular customer. As far as the customer service especially with the girl that is working right now , the worst attitude . This is the 3rd time I have come in to get ice and she tried to refuse for me to pay for my ice , claiming she doesn't know how to ring it up , however when I still stand there and refuse to leave without paying for my 49¢ cup of ice shr got an attitude and said she will just refuse to assist me . She also said she couldn't get anything done like it was my fault after her having to stop stocking cigarettes to assist a customer, which I also had been standing there patiently giving her a few minutes to even acknowledge me in the first place . After a few insults and a two year old tantrum she displayed I finally told her she was rude and uea I will pay for my ice. And yeS she will wait on me because it is her job and clearly if she can't learn to treat ppl better without an attitude then maybe she won't have one . I would say someone needs to have a nice talk with how she should be acting . I don't have a problem with any place else I go unless it's a personal attack of matters being rolled into someone's attitude problem which I should be able to assume not to have to feel that way about my interaction with her now 3 times being rude and negative to me for no reason.. well 3rd time's a charm so I shred my opinion afterwards this time . Just disgusted”

“I usually have a pretty decent experience at VPS but the last few times I've went to the one here they have been closed for computer malfunctions and I've come up there a few times and they were shut down for a few hours for cleaning which is really inconvenient when you're paying an Uber to run up there to grab some drinks and you're not available to get in I think they need to get extra help so they don't have to shut the store down and still be able to get all their cleaning and stuff done while being able to actually continuously make money those few hours that they shut down to do the cleaning they're losing out on the availability to make hundreds or thousands of more dollars in those few hours that they are not open I used to work at a gas station and I understand how difficult it is to work overnights and stuff like that by yourself and be able to accomplish all your cleaning and stocking andin every other detail of your job that is required of you but it is not completely impossible it's just mostly time management skills that help with stuff like that but the easiest way to solve those problems would be to hire a second person to come in to help with like stocking stuff for a couple hours while the other person is is doing the regular work that they would normally do in your potentially going to make more money in the long run having a second person come in for 2 hours or 3 hours at night to help out with the cleaning because you get all your stuff done that you need done plus you have the people that you were losing out coming in instead of going to other gas stations so the little bit of extra money you're paying the person to help them work for a few hours is going to make you twice as much money as you're spending on them in the long run to make sure your business is running successfully and not losing customers which is the whole point of running a business is to keep customers coming back not lose them to other people in the same line of work”

“The new Store Manager, Zach, is great! You can tell he puts a lot of effort in even though he’s very short staffed. I see the improvements he’s slowly making. I hate that they have limited hours due to staffing shortages, but you can’t get too upset because staffing issues seem to be everywhere right now. The store is clean and Zach is great!”

“I only go here for the crushed chewy ice lol. I drive everyday 30 minutes from my home just for the ice. Wish they sold it by the big bags instead of me having to buy 8 large cups a day lol. Other than that I'm happy.☺ Everytime i go im always in and out. Never any long line wait. And on top...i forgot to say..... The store is always clean. ☺☺☺☺?”

“Kindra, I believe, is the woman's name who works the register at this gas station and she is wonderfully pleasant and has excellent customer service skills. I hope her boss/the owner of this station reads these reviews and recognizes when someone like me gives an employee their just due. Great job today, Kindra. I'll stop in again.”
