“Each time I go there everyone works there. They’re very sweet. There is a couple ladies that work there that will talk to you like your friends. Also, the guys that work there they’re nice they’re friendly. They always ask how you’re doing, which is great. I love going into a place to where they are like thateach time I make a new friend and I recommend that store. I love fighting new deals new things new items in there. She’s pretty cool.”
“One of the better dollar stores to shop at. Very decent selection of quality items. Honestly I was surprised at how much brand name stuff there was. Understaffed tho, there's only 1 register and the self checkout machine is hit or miss whether it's working or not.”
“I bought a full size Serta pillow top mattress at my local Richmond Ollie's. Brand new, still in the plastic wrap. It cost me $250 less than it would have to buy elsewhere, plus I was able to use a 15% discount code they had sent me through email. The clerk,a gentleman named Daniel, helped me find the right mattress for me, double checked pricing, pulled it out and loaded it onto a cart himself, then loaded it into the back of my vehicle. Never once did he act like I was an inconvenience or like he didn't want to help me, even though I know bringing it to the curb and loading it into my vehicle is definitely not required of them. I cannot say enough how appreciative I am of his help and the money I saved. My grandmother is sleeping great on her new mattress! Thank you, Daniel!”
“WELL out of all the other Dollar General stores in Richmond this is the ONLY one I shop at. The store is always very clean and u can ACTUALLY go down the aisles without a problem. They always have everything Im looking for.The staff always greets me as soon as I walk in the door and walking out I always get have a nice day! They are awesome! And the store Mgr. Is very friendly and will go out of his way to help u!!! Love this store and the staff ?”
“The DG on the south west side is cleaner, more organized and stocked better than the others with the exception of the NW 5th st. store. Most everything is off the floor and on the shelves out of harms way. The employees do a great job putting merchandise on the shelves, and not kept on the carts all around the store.”

“Cluttered and tight aisles, I stop here when I'm in Richmond because they have some things that my local dollar general does not have in Connersville.Smelled like strong skunky weed when I went in today, I'm guessing it was a customer.”

“Quality of foods is good. Haven't been to store since they remodeled it. My only complaint is the lighting in the store is so bright. Stores never consider when they remodeled or have improved lighting.That, there is people who are they're customers that have health issues .Like epilepsy that could trigger a seizure from just being in the store. There is a disability act in this country that stores should comply by. If you could tone down the lights I may continue to be a customer.”
