“This store is typically out of items other Dollar Trees have and so flipping busy the line(s) reach down the aisles no matter what time you stop in. BUT still really worth the visit because they always seem to have unique items I can't find at other Dollar Trees both in the $1.25 price point and the higher ones. And all the employees are nice even though crazy busy...they work fast to get people through the line(s). I like stopping in here. Its one of my regular go to Dollar Trees. You should stop in too and see what they have that you havent seen at the Dollar Tree near you.”

“Exceptional shopping experience. Felt like I was shopping in an upscale, designer boutique. PJ, Kevin & Brandiwine are rock stars. Your associates treated me & my mother with so much courtesy. They were so kind, personable & professional. They went above beyond. They helped us search for things that we couldn’t find & suggested alternate, new products. We definitely bought more than we intended but PJ & Kevin made us dig deep into our wallets. PJ showed us some new cleaning products (which we would have never previously considered). Kevin suggested a new mop. I ended up buying a Mr Clean mop bucket that I didn’t think I needed...but Kevin is right I need this thing! At checkout our exceptional experience continued, Brandiwine helped us find bleach cleaner & disinfectants. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were treated with the utmost courtesy & respect.In a stressed out world, it’s nice to meet kind people. “Five Below is the very best store anywhere to buy charging cables for cell phones and tablets. They cost $5.95 for a 10 ft cable and $5.55 for a five foot cable. Six foot cables are available as well. Cable colors here are white, black, and blue. Depending on the location, some of their stores honor replacing non working cables free of charge. Regardless, their cables are good quality and last a long time with reasonable care. I buy all my cables here exclusively.There are both self check out stations and cashier stations at this location. A friendly employee was eager to check me out which is what I prefer over a self check kiosk that I'm not familiar with.These stores also have treasures as we call them. Unique stuff to buy you don't find everywhere and its of a better quality in my opinion, than the three different dollar store chains. I wish they would open one in Martinsville. Other areas they stock good inventory for are fashion accessories, pets, gifts, and toys. I bought a cat bed today that I have not been able to find in my usual pet shopping places. They also have a great candy section with items not commonly stocked elsewhere. I bought a box of Whoppers today. They have a lot of retro candy as well. Parking is more than plentiful in the giant lot for this sprawling shopping center.”

“My visit to this location was my second time being in this store. This location is bigger than the one I normally go to. It's clean with wider isles. The store is a unique design. It isn't laidout like the rest of the stores. You have some isles running horizontally. The others isles are running vertically. All refrigerator units go around the back angled wall. The store seems to have a wider variety of products. The products themselves actually seem like a better product than the other dollar general store. The employees were awesome. Super friendly, polite, and know how to handle customers that are out of line. Which unfortunately a man walked in and started cussing out the cashier during my visits. There was no reason for this man to even come in the store to begin with. He was drunk and hadn't bought anything from the store prior to this. He was complaining about about heat outside and was cussing the cashier lady about it like she was to blame. Another customer started to talk stern to the man to run him out of the store and telling how rude and disrespectful he was. I stayed with the cashier lady to give her support. None of what happened was her fault at all. The lady quickly recovered from her shock and dismay. She got right back into doing her job. Talking away to me about the products I bought. She didn't let this man ruin her vibe or her day. Excellent store,employees, and product.”

“I go here it's very convenient less than a mile from me, it's Never Packed which I love & if i usually go for a specific item, it's usually in stock. Most of the times though, I only go in to see what they have on their Deals & their clearance, which they have quite often so most of the stuff they still have in stock even clearance is usually pretty cool! So I always come out with some awesome stuff. Also I've never had any too bad of experiences here with the staff or at the register they are generally pretty nice vibes. Thank you.”

“Local low-price ??️ grocery store, with expensive name brands generally replaced by inexpensive chain store brands.Loaves of sliced bread ? we're going around $1.19; but recent inflation seems to have knocked their cheapest white up to $1.49, and cheapest wheat loaves up to $1.69. (August, 2022). $1.59 for 1920 calories in blue cheese dressing (probably their Ranch is similar.) Cheap house brand cream cheese indistinguishable from Philadelphia, imo. Iced honey buns cheaper than well known brands. Etc. Whether or not someplace like Aldi might be a little better, this place is still cheap, even with obvious recent food price inflation.The Boardwalk soft drinks are generally quality, knock off, obvious imitations of more famous soda brands; I doubt many could consistently discern differences in blind taste tests, for the *majority* of these imitation brands. The sugary knock-off drinks are usually $0.99 per 2 liter bottle, or ~1000 calories per dollar. (Edit August 2022: Boardwalk drinks recently increased to $1.25 ?)They have basic bathroom/kitchen/laundry type items too, and a few miscellaneous quality-yet-cheap items they've bought up somewhere to sell; but it's obviously a grocery-food store in emphasis.No deli selling prepared menu items, btw.Nothing but good experiences with managers and salespeople at this location, in my many visits. The store is somewhat annoyingly concerned about shoplifting, and forcing customers to leave their bags on a front counter when entering. (NB: Please think twice before planning to commit armed robbery on this corner; it's already known to be a popular place to rob, so security and cameras will be watching for that ahead of time, etc.)”
