“We have used Raw Paws for our two Mini Schnauzers now for over 5 years and will continue to use them. The quality of their raw food has remained high over the last five years and their prices are very reasonable. Our dogs have been healthy and happy and they especially love the different frozen green tripe.”

“A good friend has had great experiences here so when I had questions about my dog's food and harnesses I knew exactly where to go!My friend said talk to OJ or Max and both of them greeted us warmly when we entered the store.I talked to OJ and told them the challenges we were having with Carolina's allergies and leash training and OJ was a wealth of information! “My SoraBelle had her first spa day with Rachel today. The entire crew at Platinum Paws did an AMAZING job! I had been in search for that perfect groomer for months. I wanted a smaller establishment that would provide SoraBelle with a more intimate experience verses treating her like a random number. I had been on the waitlist for a few weeks before receiving the call that her new groomer Rachel was available. Prior to SoraBelle's appointment we received personalized messages that included reminders and pics for my groomer in prep for SoraBelle's first cut. I did not get to do the initial meet-n-greet with Rachel due to out of state travel but the hubby reassured me the drop off went really good. The feedback was Rachel seemed knowledgeable, attentive and excited to meet SoraBelle; getting on the floor for a proper hello. My feedback on Rachel during the pickup validated everything I was told. Rachel did a phenomenal job! This is the best groom that SoraBelle's received. We are booked out for the remainder of the year!”
“It seems like someone flipped a switch and all of us millenials have suddenly become obsessed with birding. Unfortunately, the "bird" aisle in most big box stores peddles products without much knowledge, and we end up with weeds, rodents, invasive birds, or disease. Instead, make the wise choice of asking questions and making your purchases at Backyard Birds. Like the aquarium store a bit further up on Keystone, these guys know their stuff, and they pick products that actually meet their intent, without the fluff. You won't get any random thistle mixed in with the nyjer, or milo with the sunflower chips. They'll tell you how to get bluebirds instead of sparrows, and how to attract woodpeckers while repelling starlings. You'll spend less money and see more success than if you fill your shopping cart at the stores up the road.”

“It's a fairly small pet supply store but very convenient to my house, and I was wanting to get a last minute toy (to help him forgive me for his day o grooming) and they had several options. Lots of treats as well as food, and the staff was so friendly. Also the store cat was very cute (but not so talkative).”

“I visited Paw Bakery on 4/14/23. Our sweet dog was going through a very rough time. I appreciate the kindness the owner showed me. She was so nice. Our dog loved the treat. It was one of her last ones before she passed away. I also bought a treat for our other dog and it disappeared in seconds. The treats in the bakery were so cute. Thank you for great service.”
“Live the dog wash. This location does let you close the doors to the room unlike the one in Avon. It's worth the couple minutes more to get there. Nice selection of high quality foods, toys and treats for dogs, cats and some birds.”

“All Petsmarts are an asset to animals. They sell anything pet related. More importantly they host adoption drives for local rescues. I adopted my senior dog at Petsmart from Creek Side Rescue. Even though I adopted it from a rescue, Petsmart cares for animals so much that they provide huge adoption coupons for anything you may need. Petsmart allowing these rescues to hold adoption drives gives so many unfortunate animals a chance for a new, better life. THANK YOU PETSMART!”

“Usually, when visiting a store that has animals for sale, you smell the stench as you approach the doors. This specific spot did not make my face scrunch up. It was actually really clean, which was a noticeable difference from other pet stores. I went to rent a carpet cleaner. A lot of people don't realize that Petsmart rents them, so they'll usually have a nice selection of machines that aren't overused or dirty from the last party. While walking through the shop, I noticed they also had some interesting finds in reptiles, insects, and birds. I really want to know who was the first to think it was a good idea to keep as a pet something you need to keep separated and secured from you while you sleep? I don't see the purpose. If someone broke into your home in the middle of the night, what would you do? Throw your pet tarantula on the intruder? Tell Tweetie to pluck their eyes out? And don't tell me they are for companionship. A snake will slither away the minute they get the chance. They don't love you. And the aquariums, well they are just miny prisons. Do you think they appreciate being enclosed in your cages instead of living free and in the wild until they are hunted in the natural order of things? That is their God-given right. But, the store was great, and the staff was very helpful and nice. When returning the machine, another customer's dog took liberties in between the sliding door entrances. They didn't even get mad or curse the folks out or nothing. Impressive.”
