“I had an awful situation happen at a terrible Harley dealership where they installed the alarm and I had to go back 4 times and they couldn’t fix the problem. Drove an hour to this shop and Heather and my tech(never caught his name) were extremely helpful and very thoroughly communicated everything with me. Within minutes tech found a wiring issue and a broken part. Got it all fixed and Heather helped me out significantly. Highly recommend this shop and will return back”
“The seal came off of my windshield while I was traveling through New Buffalo. Rocky did an excellent job repairing it. Communication was clear and concise. His price was fair. Most importantly to me, he accommodated my tight traveling schedule, allowing me to pay over the phone, and drop off / pick up outside of normal business hours. None of the other windshield repair places were even open that weekend. I appreciate Rocky so much! Would use his shop again. Thank you!”

“Sunday, July 21, 2024. We stopped in Michigan City for a night en route to O’Hare to take a flight for our honeymoon. On the hour drive over from the reception, we noticed that our truck was making rattling noises and not handling well.
As soon as we could on Monday afternoon, we sorted through mechanic options and chose to try Dave’s.
The service person we dealt with was friendly, quick, and practical. Took us right away for a test drive. “Bad ball bearings, not safe to drive!” Talked us through our options and answered our questions. So we rebooked our flight, booked another night in Michigan City, and got the truck taken in overnight.
Even thought Dave’s already had a full schedule, they squeezed us in and we had the truck back by 9am the next morning. We made it to O’Hare just fine on Wednesday and the truck sounded and handled much better for a reasonable price.
I’m grateful Dave’s was willing to take on a pair of out-of-town honeymooners and make sure we arrived safely at our destination!”

They helped me with a difficult situation…
The battery I bought from another store died. It was still under warranty, but the store I bought it from went out of business.
They replaced it and gave me an extended warranty for a very small charge. I needed new wiper blades…they sold me excellent ones which also came with a warranty.
I would highly recommend them for anything automotive! ?”
“I normally don't leave a review unless it's 5 stars. I have never been dissatisfied with a product from LKQ. But I have to do everything in person. Getting through on the phone is often unsuccessful with hold times often exceeding 20 minutes.G says they're open till 5 but they're only open till 4:30. Like I said I have never been dissatisfied with them. They are just hard to do business with because the phone system creates a bottleneck. Also, if you call at 4:40pm and are on hold the whole time, the recording will come on at 5 p.m. and tell you they're closed and hang up on you. Definitely could use some improvement there.”
