“This store has a very nice layout and is super clean. I picked out a few items and also had a return(I thought I could do it all at once at the checkout), after waiting in line at the checkout, was told to go to the back of the store to process my return and that she would be able to check me out as well. No biggie, went to the back of the store, did my return and then another lady was waiting behind me and I asked if I could quickly checkout to avoid walking back up to the checkout and having to wait again in line. The lady who had processed my return did not seem very happy that I was back there to begin with- I didn’t hold it against her, everybody has bad days but when I asked if she could quickly ring me up, she replied in a snarky tone “No because there’s someone else behind you now” as if it was my fault. I blew it off since Mouna at the checkout was very helpful and gave me a 25% off coupon and apologized for the inconvenience. I’m not one to write reviews at all but I feel like if you have a customer service job, you should have good customer service skills. Thank you anyways Mouna at the checkout, very nice and super helpful! And to the lady at the back of the store processing returns- maybe you should bring a snickers bar to work next time.”

“You can definitely find good deals from clothing to accessories to shoes and some home furnishings. There may be some searching to do since things are not as “ put together” as other big box, stores, or department stores, but there is definitely a variety of things to look through and choose from. During typical busy times expect a long wait to check out though.”

“Went to the new salon in the Valparaiso Walmart for the Henna work they offer before we go on vacation. Me, my sister and my 8 year old got it done and it was a great experience. I had my 6 year old wild boy and my 10 month old baby boy. They Wer understanding and helpful. I totally recommend this service. My little girl wanted hers off asap! So within 2 hours or less she dry wiped hers off and it is still left on her hand. We are on day 4 and she’s gone in the bath everyday and the pool and it’s still goin strong on her and me and my sister!

“Way better stocked than michigan city, more cashiers working, but less friendly than most other places around. Fruit and veggies are hit or miss, as is the meat section. The rewards points and coupons don't seem to matter these days due to prices, but I definitely try to clip as many as humanly possible before shopping.”
