“These guys are great. Had not been in a while but cashier helped me save some dough by applying a coupon. I would have saved more if I’d just logged into my account and had more coupons to use. Since they don’t print them anymore you still have to get them from their website. I found a trickle charger for $10 that does the job of fancier $40 units. If this lasts 2 years it’s a deal ( the more expensive ones might last longer but my wife moves/covers/buries them and I can’t find them, lmao). There is some stuff that does not last but when you need a quick and affordable fix, there are so many reasons to love Harbor Freight!!!”

“Shopping for new windows was an exhausting and dreadful experience until we came in contact with JR at Franklin Window and Doors. I was concerned FW&D was going to be out of our budget but they were understanding and more than willing to work with us. There are so many window companies that make so many different claims and it's tough to decipher who will do the best job and narrow down what is needed. JR came to our house and helped us understand the meaning behind the specifications, helped us pick a window that met those specs, and helped us stay within our budget. We also visited the showroom to view different options and we settled on the Marvin windows they offer. JR took time to answer all of our questions before our purchase, and cared about our experience. The windows were installed in a timely manner, they are the best looking windows on the market and they operate wonderfully. Their installers even sealed off a few doors for us free of charge, among other things. We had a great experience with JR and because of this we would highly recommend Franklin Window & Door to any of our family and friends. “When I wanted to replace a toilet quickly because of impending arrival of guests, I turned to Julie McSweeney at Kohler to see if she could help me. Help me she did! Efficiently and expertly. She made sure my selection was appropriate to the space by asking necessary questions and then immediately confirmed that the item was in stock. Next, she followed through with suggesting a first rate plumber who would come when promised. Julie’s help was friendly and, most of all, knowledgeable and thorough. The job was done in what seemed to me to be record time and I don’t think this could have been accomplished without her involvement. I really appreciated all she did for me!”

“There were 12 posts supporting a wrought iron fence on a wall at the entrance of our HOA Community. Seven were in various stages of corrosion at the base of the fence, where they met the wall. Only one of eight wrought iron fence companies contacted would entertain looking at our problem to replace the posts, while the other seven only repair fences that they installed. This fence contractor withdrew due to the fence sitting on a brick wall topped with blue stone slate. Carmel Welding was contacted and they took on the job of removing one post and planning replacements, which were highly successful and at reasonable cost. Carmel Welding took on this job when eight other wrought iron fence companies refused to tackle our problem.”

“Long story short, this local hardware store is a gem and the guy (did not catch his name and could be an owner) that helped me went above and beyond to help me with great kindness. My truck was parked in Westfield and I had ridden my bike to Sheridan on the Monon Trail, the bolt on my seat post sheared as I was heading back to Westfield. I took the seat, seat post, and parts and walked to this Hardware store. He took the time and removed the sheared bolt, and found the replacement bolt and reassembled it for me. Customer Service and Small Town Businesses are becoming a thing of the past, but that is to our very great loss. I am very appreciative and truly thankful this store and the guy working at the counter are there. Thank you for your kindness! God Bless!”

The prices are not competitive with Menards. Crank up the friendly factor, this could be our go-to. For now, Menard holds the $1 spot.”

“The pieces anchoring my mail box to the post had rotted so I was able to take the old pieces in and staff helped me find the right size lumber, they cut it for me, as well as paint matched so I can repaint the post which has been several years and needs some help (so wood filler as well as sealer was recommended). I am not a diy person so having such great staff made this a really great hardware store experience.”

“I'd been having trouble finding rigid foam plant protectors for cold weather & looked on the Fishers Menards website earlier today. It showed they had some in stock so I called the store to confirm. I spoke to Sumner in hardware who was very helpful - he initially couldn't locate them & rather than keep me waiting on the phone, he offered to continue looking & to email me with his results. A short time later I received an email from him saying he found them & put the 2 that I needed aside for me. I went to the store after dinner & purchased them. Sumner really went above & beyond in my opinion! I know this was a small thing, not a large purchase but he treated it with importance & I really appreciate that. Kudos also to Cody in hardware who retrieved them for me when I got there - these young men displayed excellent customer service & should be commended & recognized for their great attitudes & willingness to help. They are excellent employees - thank you!”

She went above and beyond to help him even outside of her area and we will never forget. Instead of brushing him off like most employees she decided to help. I appreciate that very much. The other day I came in and bought an ungodly amount of Visa credit cards and they stopped me and asked me to show ID and show me my credit card to make sure the names matched. I get it but also I don't. It's 2023 people. They were nice though. So 5 stars. Did kind of feel like I was being profiled as I am a young white man who was dressed in my pajamas.
