“I am a bona fide live human being writing this review of White's Ace Hardware. The store has a nice, easily accessible parking area. There's parking right by the building. Automatic doors appeared easily accessible to wheelchairs, walkers and mobility carts. Aisles are wide and
well organized, easy to maneuver. There are many gardening items, a group of small batch preserves and jellys, wild bird food, tools, home repair items, paint, paint brushes, lightbulbs and much more.. There were at least 3 employees available to help to assist if one asks. The congenial young man at the checkout register wished me a cheerful greeting as I left the store. Among the interesting signs on the entry doors were a 'We Are Hiring' sign and a 'Services Offered' sign. 'Sharpening' was one service offered. I will call back to find out what that includes, as I would love to find someone to sharpen some of my gardening tools. There was a large covered outdoor area with mum's and other attractive fall flowers I did not have time to explore. Potting soils are available inside.”

The staff care more about the neighborhood and client experience than they do the bottom line (though the bottom line still matters -- don't be stingy)!Bert is the heartbeat of the store. “I am extremely happy with the services of Carmel Welding and Supply! I purchased a Cub Cadet garden tractor from a family that had downsized their property and no longer needed a mower that large. They recommended the place where they bought it and took it for maintenance if I needed any service. I’m so glad I followed their advice when that time came. Carmel Welding had all records of previous service, fixed what I need, and I can keep my Cub Cadet running like new!”

“Talk about service!!! If you want true and genuine customer service, ask for Rich! He is very knowledgeable and genuine in helping. I purchased a brake light for my truck and did not have a wrench, so Rich made sure to solve that problem and allow me to change my light bulb on the spot! You can really tell when people care and are sincere when first meeting them and this was no different. Very thankful for his help!”

“Long story short, this local hardware store is a gem and the guy (did not catch his name and could be an owner) that helped me went above and beyond to help me with great kindness. My truck was parked in Westfield and I had ridden my bike to Sheridan on the Monon Trail, the bolt on my seat post sheared as I was heading back to Westfield. I took the seat, seat post, and parts and walked to this Hardware store. He took the time and removed the sheared bolt, and found the replacement bolt and reassembled it for me. Customer Service and Small Town Businesses are becoming a thing of the past, but that is to our very great loss. I am very appreciative and truly thankful this store and the guy working at the counter are there. Thank you for your kindness! God Bless!”
“I've been doing a summer remodeling project and have made several trips to the Shadeland Lowes location for materials. Aaron in the lumber department has been so helpful! He's so patient in helping me find the right pieces and then cutting the lumber for me. I'm not comfortable using a saw, so it has been extremely helpful. He also doesn't point, he actually takes you to show you where things are in the store! Amazing customer service, keeps me going back and doing more projects lol.”
“Shopping for new windows was an exhausting and dreadful experience until we came in contact with JR at Franklin Window and Doors. I was concerned FW&D was going to be out of our budget but they were understanding and more than willing to work with us. There are so many window companies that make so many different claims and it's tough to decipher who will do the best job and narrow down what is needed. JR came to our house and helped us understand the meaning behind the specifications, helped us pick a window that met those specs, and helped us stay within our budget. We also visited the showroom to view different options and we settled on the Marvin windows they offer. JR took time to answer all of our questions before our purchase, and cared about our experience. The windows were installed in a timely manner, they are the best looking windows on the market and they operate wonderfully. Their installers even sealed off a few doors for us free of charge, among other things. We had a great experience with JR and because of this we would highly recommend Franklin Window & Door to any of our family and friends. See pic attached..we have received many compliments on our new windows!”

“Rented a bush hog for 24 hrs. With insurance added, price was a little over $150. Had to supply my own trailer which is a bit of a pain. The machine ran as expected and did a good job. The check out associate was all business. The check in associate was a little more friendly. All in all a good experience and met my needs.”
“My grandfather is a retired Veteran who speaks highly of his recent visit to this store. He mentioned that " a smart and very lovely young lady" helped him every step of the way. Her name is Roxana. She went above and beyond to help him even outside of her area and we will never forget. Instead of brushing him off like most employees she decided to help. I appreciate that very much. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend. He was building a deck and needed quite a bit of material. Price good. Quality of materials are excellent. Clean store. Safe environment.”
“The pieces anchoring my mail box to the post had rotted so I was able to take the old pieces in and staff helped me find the right size lumber, they cut it for me, as well as paint matched so I can repaint the post which has been several years and needs some help (so wood filler as well as sealer was recommended). I am not a diy person so having such great staff made this a really great hardware store experience.”

“While checking out this morning, I was helped by Mr. Narinder, and the experience was truly exceptional. He was incredibly kind, pleasant, and welcoming from the start. He suggested that I apply for the Home Depot credit card—something I would normally decline without much thought. However, the way he clearly and thoughtfully explained the benefits genuinely changed my mind, and I immediately wanted to take advantage of them.

“Home Depot has some of the best customer service around in my opinion. The Employees always go above & beyond to exceed expectations, whether on the phone or in person. They are consistently professional & pleasant. I was especially impressed by their follow-up. When i ordered a hard to find type of Rubber Tree plant which had to be back ordered the plant arrived in perfect condition in a lovely woven seagrass basket. It came with a 90 day warranty, & detailed instructions for care & transplanting. Over a month later the plant still seems strong & healthy. During the waiting period a store associate called to verify the order status and even gave me an opportunity to easily cancel if i chose to, which i didn't. They called again the day before delivery to confirm it was a good day & time for me, although no signature was required. Then soon after delivery they called to ensure it could be taken inside quickly. This is just one example of my positive experiences with Home Depot, always a step above the other home improvement stores of this size.”

I have a business account through them, so I get 10% off my purchases! The other Ace’s near me don’t have the “new” system so I don’t get discounts and stuff using my account.
This store is AMAZING! And no I’m not getting paid to say this!”
