“Nice little market in Whiting. Easy to find, ample parking lot. Didnt try the hot food but got the tamales from the cooler. Delicious homemade. Got 1 dozen pork, 1 dozen chicken. Awesome, especially when you dont have to wait for the weekend to get them. I LOVE the pork tamales”
“I wandered into this Strack & Van Til grocery store while traveling through Indiana and I was incredibly impressed by the overall setup. The produce section was beautifully arranged with super fresh fruits and vegetables, and the deli counter had an amazing selection of ready-to-eat meals that saved me from having to find a restaurant. The bakery smelled like absolute heaven and the fresh-baked bread I grabbed was still warm. Every employee I passed smiled and asked how my day was going, which made the whole shopping trip feel really welcoming and pleasant.”
“It's a very clean store and there fruit is very good. And they carry quite a lot of stuff for being a small store and the Service is definitely 5 Star Service. And there Cooked Food is excellent and affordable prices.”
