“Lovey place. Spacious warehouse with gently used items and fairly priced. I bought a $5 tiny space heater. However, it only lasted a day until it burned out. But again, I didn't expect much of it since it's used. But I really do like it there and will be back when I move to see what I can furnish my home with. Also the customer service was wonderful.”

“OMG. WHAT A WONDERFUL PLACE. Nice inventory and great quality items. Prices are SO fair. We picked up a beautiful, like new microfiber couch for $125. Also a solid wood coffee table for $75. So much to look at. Great stuff, great prices, GREAT CAUSE. <3”

“I’m in such a pickle trying to find a gown for a formal dance I’m going to volunteer for this Friday night.. I called the Toggery this Wednesday. The woman who helped me on the phone shopped for me with me on the phone to see what was in stock. With my needed larger size it made it easy for her on the phone call. She knew where to look for any and all pieces to put together an outfit. What unbelievable and helpful service I received! I cannot wait to shop in person there!! I’m sorry I didn’t get her name.”

“This is one of the best consignment shops for men's clothing on the Northside of Indy. Top brand names in great condition are the norm. Shopping full price retail anywhere after going to Newman & Company gives me sticker shock, so I keep going back.”

“I love this place! My family loves coming here as well as friends. We treat ourselves by coming here when we can! Much like Mission 27, it is organized and has great vintage selections but I’d say thrift threads has better vintage/retro selections and for that reason some items might be pricey. They have fitting rooms and a large selection of women’s clothing And have a fairly small selection of plus size in comparison to the total amount of clothes they have. Prices can be good will cheap to consignment prices. Love that it’s close to a great taco and tamale place, 3in1!”

“ahhhh my beloved childhood goodwill this is a slightly older location but dont let the building size fool you! LOOOVE this place. i remember going to my first ever sale saturday here as a kid (and yes thats where the thrifting addiction took root LOL) but nostalgia aside, this place has absolutely held up as a high quality second hand store. despite being a smaller building, they are always rotating their items and bringing new racks/carts out all day every day. good prices, good quality, nice workers, clean store - what other praise can i offer? always loved this place always will! i still make my rounds here alllll the time :p
much luv ”

“I had questions and it seemed like only 1 person had all the answers and was busy. I ended up leaving without purchasing anything. Overall it was still a nice store and probably one of the cleanest locations. I will go back at another time.”

“I love and respect all the things Goodwill as a company does for people and communities! Such as FREE highschool for adults, helping people with housing, free nursing for first time mother's, etc.... Goodwill gets their donations for free but if you do your research you will see all the amazing things the company does!!”

“This Goodwill location gave great customer service, it had a good selection of items, the prices were fair, & the staff answered any questions that my wife & I had as well as loaded the U Haul truck we had brought back to pick the furniture items we had bought. I was overall very satisfied with this Goodwill.”

“Updated review in 2024: The store has improved in cleanliness and selection! Great deals here, and staff are friendly.

Original review from 2017: The store is kinda dirty, and there are generally some pretty angry people shopping here. It feels depressing. Also, they don't have a very good selection of clothing for men.”

“The prices matched that of other goodwill stores for the most part. Most everything was in good condition. Quite a variety of things and LOTS of clothes and shoes. It's a little bit messier to find things other than clothes, but it's because there is so much there.”

“I love this store and the individuals in it. Very sweet and they do their best. They do have some inconsistencies and they don't have the retail expertise associated with high-end department stores. Come into this store with a smile (it puts the employees at ease and they can perform to a higher degree which is successful foryou and them), be patient (this is aplace you MIGHT find just want you want but most likely to find what you didnt know you wanted or needed), and be grateful for what you have. This line of Goodwill stores have been established and are founded in helping lift up others not by giving out but by helping stay up with opportunities to work, learn and succeed in life. Goodwill Industries caters to high risk populations who just need alittle assistance and an environment that reassures them when they try their best. They accept donations because it gives individuals a regular job to learn social interactions with customers, retail experience and mathematics in action. It also offers higher education opportunities offered at free or reduced rates to this same demographic loving people who want to succeed in life just like you are. So be excited that you found more than the same item and be grateful that one is cheaper than another....not upset that some are higher priced. If you can buy it, buy it. If you can't, don't. But leave the store a little brighter and happier than when you walked in. These people are GOOD PEOPLE. They aren't perfect, but so am I, you and every person waling the earth today. Be kind, be patient, be positive. It's the key to happiness.”

“This Goodwill had better quality merchandise than the ones closer to downtown (and those more easily reached by bus.) I suspect this is because it's harder for the neediest people to get to this Goodwill outlet.”
