Both locations great staff and quick service. Mostly in Marshalltown now. Chad the heavy wrecker driver is very professional and quick.

“I was very surprised to find everything you dream of but rarely get. I had been with another service for 15+ yrs. Recent events made me question their integrity so I got a coupon in the mail from Honest Wrenches and took my car for an oil change. The former place said I need new breaks, struts, and pads. During the oil change and wintering they inspected brakes and other things. Much to my surprise, I didn't need break work at all. In fact they also got details from Car Facts, that same previous business had done my brakes a few years ago. I'm a senior they were trying to take advantage of. Besides being honest, they were also very nice and very efficient. I won't take my car anywhere else from now on.”

“Our Dodge Durango's engine thermostat failed while we were on a summer road trip from Pennsylvania. It was already late afternoon and many mechanics were either closed for the day or had no available bays. Cotofo's was the one exception. They not only answered the phone, but told us we could stop in immediately. The shop was easy to find, just a few turns off the interstate. And there was no wait: They got our Durango in right away, diagnosed the problem, and fixed us up with a new thermostat and an oil change, then got us right back on the road. We didn't wait more than an hour. They also had free cold beverages available in the waiting area which was a plus on a hot summer day. The owner even followed up with us multiple times in the following weeks to make sure we were satisfied—which says a lot considering we're from Pennsylvania and not likely to be repeat customers. If you're in the Des Moines area, whether you live there or are just passing through like we were, don't hesitate to give Cotofo's a call. Thanks guys!”
“This morning I blew a tire on my way to work. I tried going through my insurance that wanted to charge me $140 for a 2.5 mile drive. I waited for an hour and a half and my insurance STILL hadn't found someone to come pick up my vehicle. I'm not saying that someone wasn't on the way, they hadn't even found someone to take the tow. I kept calling them and they said they were working on it. Eventually I took it upon myself and started calling around. I called a few other places that didn't answer before I called Iowa First Call Towing. It was $91 AND they got there in less than 20 minutes. I was shocked how quick they were. Would recommend and I am now a loyal customer. I understand it won't always be that quick, but I appreciated their service greatly.”

I was very shaken from being T-boned by a driver speeding and running the red light. Chris L. showed up with Crow Tow. Quickly secured both cars. Came over to tell us the details of our tow and the next steps. Provided his info. Very professional and personable. Top knotch customer service. Very impressed.”
