“Treats on a Leash offers a unique and welcoming vibe with a great overall aesthetic. The shop has a fun selection of items and cool products that make it enjoyable to browse, even if you’re just looking around. The staff is friendly and the space feels well put together. Highly recommended if you’re a dog enthusiast or simply want to explore something different and interesting.”

“Gold standard for Ames-area small business. Long-time owner, friendly, knowledgeable. We have purchased all our dog food, grass seed, and lawn care products here. They have helped us tackle the tough stuff, like getting rid of Creeping Charlie. 5/5!”

“The last 2 nail trims were excellent but today was the best ever by Alisha. She was so calm and steady while my wiggling dog tried to get away. She got all nails cut, but what made Alisha the best was how thoroughly she sanded each nail. She didnt quit until those nails were like smooth river pebbles. I am so impressed and happy with her work. Overall, 100% highly recommend! I booked online and once they've seen your rabies paper, they keep it on file. $20 is a bargain. Thank you!!”

“Had to get some 'expensive' puppy food & a few items for my doggie, Fizer the G Retriever! I ran into two young girls that had a 6 wk. old cute puppy! Oh my goodness! Everything was fine, although I felt like the 'young lady' behind the counter could've been more smily; welcoming, and pleasant. Anyway, no biggie!”

“Dr. Ricklefs is a consummate professional and caring veterinarian with an exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. We bring all our Maine Coons there, most recently 7-month 13.5-pound Thor. He has two sisters, Siggy and Freya, patients of All Pets since birth. Thor's doing marvelously well after neutering and already is hungry, bringing me a midnight snack (stole from cupboard). He was so appreciative he bought Dr. Ricklefs a cake!”

“Very clean store and helpful employees. The fish selection was great and the tanks were all clean and healthy fish. Ive been to another big pet store and the fish were all floating upside down and tanks were filthy so this was nice to see.”
