“Love this shop. Rotating collection from local vintage sellers. The new clothing space is great and I appreciated the vendors who listed the items measurements on the tags. The owner is super responsive to questions online too!”

“Not sure what the hours are on a regular basis but when you're lucky enough to catch the place open its a great spot to look through booths of new and used items. Lots of high end tools on a regular basis.”

“I had no idea what to expect, but it did not disappoint. I didn't really understand how big this place was before entering. The mall is filled with unique finds and I could have spent hours looking at things. It was easy to get assistance with items in display cases and everyone was friendly who worked there. My husband and I were thrilled to find some unique Star Trek things to add to our collection.”

“We were in from Kansas City for the weekend. Tiffani and her guest vendor CC were so warm and funny! The shop was cool and the prices were very reasonable. Easily my favorite place that I shopped all weekend.”

“The owner is my type of lady! She knows her stuff and is an awesome person to just chat with! Her intelligence and kindness is refreshing in this ever cold and uncaring world. Not to mention the one of a kind and totally iconic items she is selling. Handpicked with love....you can tell.”

“This shop was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our three-day trip to Des Moines. As it turns out - confirmed by the very helpful, friendly lady at this antique store - most shops in town are closed on Sundays and Mondays. She, too, found this both odd and disappointing. That said, I’m glad we stumbled upon the Raccoon Forks Trading Company on our mostly fruitless search for anything interesting to do downtown on a Sunday.I’m probably biased for my love of antique stores, but even still, it is objectively fun to visit. So much stuff to look at! I could easily kill a couple of hours browsing. Prices seemed fair - from larger furniture pieces to small trinkets and antique books. I wound up purchasing an early 1900s jewelry box for $25, which I’m very happy with.”

“Really nice employees and a pretty big collection of firearms, I didn't buy anything (I'm from Kansas, firearms in Kansas are a lot cheaper!) But they can't help what the going rate is for firearms around here.”

“This place was great! Very glad I stumbled across it. Much larger than you'd think even once you first walk inside. A lot of vendors and most with nice treasures. Definitely a place that you know you could find something unique and special, even if you weren't looking for it. Absolutely worth visiting in the area!”
