“Visiting West End Architectural Salvage is easily one of the coolest and most unique tourist spots in Des Moines! Spanning four massive floors filled with antique furniture, vintage signs, and reclaimed architectural wonders from all over the world, it feels like exploring a living museum. The rustic, eclectic atmosphere makes it such an inspiring place to wander around and lose track of time.
To top it all off, they have a fantastic little coffee bar built right into the space. I grabbed an iced latte while browsing through the levels, and the espresso was surprisingly rich, smooth, and high-quality. The staff is super passionate, friendly, and ready to share the history behind their salvaged finds. If you're visiting Des Moines, this is an absolute must-see destination!”

“If you're looking to add some Mid Century Modern into your life, this is the place to shop. The showroom always has some magnificent pieces to brighten up your space. The owners are very personable and willing to answer any questions you might have. They just reopened the downstairs market and there are plenty of vendors to peruse. If I could give more stars, I definitely would.”
